Yes. You can definitely love someone you don't fully trust, but you'd be stupid to marry them without total mutual trust.
Out of all my girlfriends, there was only one who I grew to love with my heart and soul. She loved me, too.
I met her when I was 36 and she was 30. We lived together for over a year. I trusted her to be monogamous and honest. But I discovered that she had been sexually abused by her step father for almost 10 years from a very young age until she reached puberty. It messed her up. She became an alcoholic. She got married and had a son at 17, then got divorced a couple years later and moved away. Her husband got custody, although she and her son visited regularly and were very close. There was no acrimony between her and her ex.
Her abuse also made her hypersexual and orgasmic, which was great.
By the time I met her, she had been in counseling for years, was a recovered alcoholic, had a career, and was the most wonderful person I had ever met. She was determined to make it in the world. But she had trouble completely trusting men. I think she was afraid of abandonment. She was also insecure about her past and was unable to communicate openly about it.
I never asked her to marry me because I had doubts as to whether we could make it as life-long partners forever. I just wasn't sure.
So even though we loved each other, there were trust issues.
It has nothing to do with them it's all about you if you understand love and you understand unconditional love you're going to love everybody even though you might not like them or you might hate them because of so many other different reasons you're still going to love them because that's who you are as a person and you understand unconditional love so yes
But if it's just a simple type of love and you don't trust them no you're not going to do that because you don't trust them but if you know the difference between both those types of love yes you will love them but you will not let them in the other love and you don't trust them you will probably let them in anyway and that's where everybody gets screwed
Yes it is very possible to love someone you don't fully trust in him. Because Trust it does take a long time to be able to trust someone. Trust has to earned from that man you are dating in a new relationship. Some men think that I should just give my trust to him, No he has to earn my trust I don't trust men easily. Because I have been hurt by some men in my past relationships. That is the reason now I make a man like my boyfriend when we were dating I made him earn my Trust before I really put my trust in him.
it is possible to love someone you dont fully trust, but it makes it harder to love that person, and i dont think it will be a good long term relationship because you're never really gonna trust and relay on this person unless they start proving themselves to you and you will learn to build the trust with them but thats gonna take along time.

to me i fall in love to deep i learned never to do that again my ex I could trust for a year next to years he cheated but i had a feeling he was so i told him i can't trust you anymore he said really i sayed Yip because i know yor cheating av herd you talking to other girl saying you love them and saying baby awl see you next week why should i trust you i think he stopped liking me because i was able to see right through him and able to fight back i still loved him after it i guess i just didn't wanna beileve it was true because i loved him so much i even remained to just stay his girlfriend for sometime of being with even though i herd him talking to other women i was thinking maybe he mite just stay with me and leave them but naa never worked so we broke up a year and a half ago but yeah it's possible to love someone you can't trust especially if they twirl your mind at the begining of the relashionship then fuck you about when they see how deeply u love them and would do anything to be with them no matter what they do exactly what happend to me
It happened to me before, so I'd say yes. I met this girl once, we fell in love, we were together for 3 years, and were going to get married. everyone told me she was cheating on me, which I didn't believe of course because I like to find things out for myself, even though I should've listened to my friends.
Our whole time together, she had sex with 6 other guys to my knowledge (Probably more), and on our wedding day, she left me for some guy in Indiana. That was the last straw, but during the time we were together, I didn't trust her, and I knew she couldn't be trusted, but I still loved her.
Trust those instincts. If you love someone that you don't fully trust, there is probably, like a 99 % chance there's a good reason. Usually if someone lies most of the time, they can't be trusted, and if they give you excuses for almost everything, they can't be trusted. Experience has been my favorite teacher!
It's definitely possible. Love and trust aren't necessarily synonymous. You can still hold strong feelings for someone and have a deep connection with them, even if you don't fully trust them. However, it's important to be honest with yourself about the situation and ask yourself why you don't fully trust them in the first place. Is it something they did/said that caused you to lose trust in them, or could it be your own personal hang-ups getting in the way?
I say NO. But I know others are going to vehemently disagree with that. Love IS trust if you ask me. You love someone because you trust that they will not DELIBERATELY (key word) hurt you. Now you can start falling in love with someone but the trust is not fully built yet. But I wouldn't call that love. I'd call that limmerance.
A relationship is based on trust loyalty and love and if you can't trust them then how can you say you love them I've actually been in that situation and it didn't end to well so yea unless it's a family member than that's different because you love your family but they may have did something for you to not trust them deep down you still love that person but you want nothing to do with them because they made it to where you can't really trust them
I am a godly observer, I don't really trust or distrust the person I love, but I definitely need to feel she has consideration towards how I feels about what she does, if she doesn't show her consideration on my feelings, that's it she is not for me.
Yes, it is possible, BUT. . . a good LTR requires lust, love, trust, and respect. A lack of trust will be fatal to any attempt at a relationship.
Love yes but be with and be around letting them go about Thier own things in a marriage... No that will turn loveless!
I don't think so. I wouldn't be with a person I don't trust because then how am I going to know they'll be there for me if anything happens when I go anywhere with them?
no... i don't settle. i love money but i serve the Lord so i don't wanna be a golddigger and be cunning about things. i just do what i think is good and right while being teue to myself
yes, i feel that myself. i think a lot of people are stupid so i don't trust them because i've seen what they have done in the past. but yes i can still love them. but that trust is a bit dim...
Yes... xx
Friendship. In some aspects. A very good and loyal friend but I don't trust her behind the wheel. I will get there in time, but she can literally tokyo drift. While impressive it's very scary.
No never. Not possible. It's like building the castle with simply air or just sand. It's either NOTHING or fragile with a simple feather touch.
@StarWarGirl Believe Me, The Heart is the Ruler. xxoo
nope, that's not love...
that's something else, but not love
In my opinion no. Trust is essential to romantic love and friendship. Family love maybe, like a son or daughter.
yes but it takes a lot of brainwashing and self-manipulation
Most relationships start that way don't they?
Yes, people do it all the time. But it’s better if you can trust who you love.
Yes.
Big things aren't usually the problem in my life. It's the small stuff that gets to me.
>>> I trust everyone 100% - up to a point. (think about it) <<<
yeah it's definitely possible bc love is complicated
Unfortunately yes, it is possible and it can hurt in every possible way.
Yes, but it usually is a shitty relationship..
I mean yeah I would say you could. But it's not going to be fun for the other partner lol
I guess it is possible, but it would be difficult.
Yes, some people find that lack of trust somehow exciting they can not get enough of it. It is crazy but often true.
Not for me. Bad things happened to me at 12-14 so I need to trust people.
Depends on the type of love, I certainly have family who I love, but can't trust as far as I can throw them.
Yes but it will be an emotionally draining experience. Like you will be mostly worried that what he/she might be doing in your absence. Eventually that cause to fall you out of love.
It's certainly possible. That lack if trust will eat at you though.
I would say yes but it's like building a sand castle close to the water, over time that love is going to erode if that trust is never reinforced or fully developed.
For sure, but it depends on what you mean by trust.
What makes you think you have to trust someone to "love" them? I'm guessing you're referring strictly to romantic love?
So you're talking strictly about romantic love, right? A parent can love their child but not trust them. You can love your siblings or friends even, but not fully trust them.
Nope, red flags everywhere, probably gonna steal my wallet or something when I'm asleep smh.
It would be hard, but I guess you could find a way.
Yes, they may have a track record of cheating, drugs, alcohol...
It's possible to love them but, I'd have a very hard time being IN LOVE with them!
Well, I was still in love with my future ex-fiance after I caught her lying to me a time or two. When she started stealing from me, I started to have doubts. When I caught her cheating on me, I dropped her ass like a hot brick!!
Start taking them to Denny’s and then soon they will put their cards on the table. Then you’ll learn to trust them
Sure you can love them, but the relationship won't ever be good, because trust and communication are key in a relationship.
Yeah, isn’t that like most relationships? You never really know if you could trust them but you still try to
No honestly.. Because love and trust go hand in hand.
Do parents love their kids?
Do parents trust their kids?
Funny how the answer can be found with a couple of questions
Yes. I love everyone, and only fully trust my Flower Girl.
I prefer not because true love is when you fully trust someone
Absolutely not. If you don’t trust your partner, what are you doing with them?
No. You only can fully love, when there's no fear.
No, not in my book, as a Bro or Sis may be yes but not a partner.
Sure but it depends if their gaining your trust sure. If they lost it might take a while.
I'd never be able to love someone who I don't trust
I got a big heart for the right person
Yes. I love all of my friends, but I only fully trust one of them.
It's possible to like them, But not fully love them.
That would be difficult since love and trust must coexist
That's how I feel about it. Haven't found it yet but I'm not giving up yet
It is possible to love. But it'd be very wrong to. Even wrong to marry. Which is what I did. And now suffering the consequences.
Not for me if I don't trust you I won't deal. with you
Don’t think so especially the way people are now
Well they say love is blind. So possibly, but not for me
I dont have a never girlfriend Im almost 25 dont ask me 😢
Yes. More than a feeling, Love is a choice. But I don’t think that kind of love can live up to the potential of the concept and in fact it will enevitably wind up poisoning itself or just becoming a lesser thing than what i would imagine many of us would expect love to be all about.
I don't think so. Trust must be part of love and any relationship (even the non-romantic ones).
Yes, but it's not so easy.
No, that is not possible.
