What r the reasons people betray you, other than Jealousy/money?

I think maybe you insulted them or made them feel bad about themselves. I know 4 people who hated me because I was honest with them and they could not handle it. Like one guy had an aggressive best friend and I said he chose her because he was passive and wanted somebody that made him feel submissive. He wanted to believe their friendship was based on mutual love and that their love was not an illusion constructed around a flavourless and pointless power dynamic that any monkey could make. And I said he was gay because he felt abandoned by his father when his father remarried and the stepmother was mean to him. He was offended by my honesty and could not handle it.
