Why do people mistake your loyalty and care for despair?

I mean when I'm in a relationship I always call and check on my partner, I also don't mess around with other girls just because I'm loyal and I care... and I think when you do that some people including your partner think you're desperate or something? But in fact, I can be a playboy or fkboy and get a new girl everyday if I wanted to, but that's not who I'm or what I wanna be. So what's your take on this?

Interesting! I was thinking something similar recently.

I think, in no particular order:

A) too much of a good thing (support, checking in, etc), which make women feel cared for in the long run, can be quite overwhelming at first. Maybe the girl feels compelled to stay but she didn't get the chance to really go through the process of choosing you. You are, just like, there all of a sudden. It's a bit much, even if she knows it's a good thing.

B) some women are not at all ready to recieve and appreciate that type of attention 🤷‍♀️

C) I find it nice and kinda sexy to see a guy focus and achieve goals other than the relationship ones. His job, his passions, etc. Let them see that you're a winner in this world, too?

It's not like I don't have a job or a career to focus on... and I'm talking about already being in a relationship not the choosing process... plus I'm not checking in like every second or hour, I do take my time I'm not that stupid or obsessed... it seems like I should just go back to my old ways of not giving a fk

Women thrive on drama. You know how guys will suit around telling stories about the cool shit we've done, and there's always that one guy who makes shit up just to be included? Women are like that with bullshit drama.
