Good evening, Sooo, for this question I need to start with a little bit of a backstory and I’m sorry if it’s so long but please bear with me. About a year ago me and the boyfriend found a 3 months old baby amstaff so we couldn’t leave it there so we took her home. Was unvaccinated and everything and at the vet I managed to do her first vaccine at 5 months old and then after 2 days she died and I suffered a lot and I was not ready for a new puppy yet but my boyfriend really wanted one so well we took a baby husky about 2 days ago so that was Friday. So she’s 6 weeks old we went to the vet for her first vaccine and this vet actually tested her for 3 diseases to see if he can do the vaccine. Turns out she didn’t have those diseases and so he did a deworming ( gave her a pill) and he did the vaccine. He told us not to get her outside until her 2nd vaccine so about 2 weeks I have to stay at home with her (indoor at a block) and so I’ve been trying to get her to pee and poo on those pee pads but she just doesn’t and now when she pooped the 2nd time today she had worms in her poo ( for some reason I didn’t think she’d have those, I’m a first time parent please bare with me) and I’m absolutely terrified I don’t know what to do, I cleaned everything really well and my hands with soap and alcohol and washed the floor with bleach every time she peed and right after she pooped. But I held her all day and she’s in bed with me and now I’m terrified I might get worms and I can’t sleep and I’m terrified she might die like my first puppy and oh my god please help with advice

My two cents would be that the vet doesn’t want the worms to spread to other animals. As to the question about the worms spreading to humans. I would guess that would be possible.
Seeing worms in the stool. The worms need to go somewhere after the dewormer was given.
Call the vet. After all. You probably paid him a pretty penny for the visit. He or she should be able to put your mind at ease.
Buy another one because dogs aren't happy when they are alone. They are social animals that live in groups naturally
Did you even read what I said?
I did but I'm not a vet so I can't give you the advise you need. It's sad that your other puppy died, so asking advice is telling me you really care so thats a good thing
But still... people need to understand that having 1 dog is very unhealthy for the 🐕
Sadly people don't seem to care or don't understand that dogs aren't happy when they are alone during the day... They need a companion of their own kind or someone that is home most of the time
