Today, all my friends sided with my stalker. My best friend always fancied him and dumped me to please him, hoping to get a shot with him. My other friends just ghosted me. Because I refused to be his girlfriend. I think the trick is to go out more. I don’t know where though. Besides the 3 friends I’ve got, I have to start from scratch.
I'm so sorry. As hurtful & disappointing as it is that they all left, try to see the blessing in it. The blessing is they're gone. To be honest, if they claimed to be your friend & then sided against you, ghosted you, etc. Sweetie, they were never really your friend. They may have been friendly, or an associate, but if they could turn on you & leave that quickly & easily... not a friend. When the dust settled, they showed their true colors & whim their liyalty was to. Count it a blessing they saved you the trouble of kicking them out of your life. Yes, move on & find new friends. People are in our lives for season or a lifetime. Wisdom tells us to stop dragging seasonal people through our life & stop kicking lifetime people out of our life in seasons. Where to find new friends? Everywhere & anywhere people are. Church, grocery store, laundromat. Be friendly. Strike up a conversation. What hobbies do you have? Join groups. Say you bowl, join a league. Take a cooking class, art class, writing class etc. Join a singles group that goes out to socialize. Try dancing or start a new hobby- get out where you have an opportunity to meet new people. Put your best smile on your face, be friendly & open & authentically you. Best of luck
You don't need "friends " who are back stabbers. Find clubs to go to and meet new friends.
