I need an opinion on something?

Some my parents have been divorced since I was a baby and I have been living my whole life with my father. I used to visit my mom in Georgia from time to time but eventually stopped going to see her once I entered high school. She eventually attended my high school graduation to watch me graduate and after that I didn’t see her again until 2022 where I went visit her for Christmas and I am just now starting to go see her again and rebuild our once lost connection. My question comes in when I recently asked my mom if she was coming to my graduation for college and she said that she doesn’t know because her daughter (which is my half sister) is having a dance recital on the same day I graduate, so I just want to know if it was you, would you choose the graduation of your first born or choose a dance recital of your baby girl. My mom says that she’s torn apart about the situation and that she’ll see if she can because she wants to be at both.

what. there's only one graduation. but multiple dance recitals. i can't believe she is hesitating. my pick would be graduation, hands down, no second thoughts or doubts. graduating college is a milestone. dance recitals are NOT milestones.

the fact that she can't choose makes me believe she will probably choose the dance recital.
