So recently my roommate and my fiance made the decision that dogs are no longer aloud on the couch. With the statement the couch smells.

For the record I bought the fluffing couch so I think whatever the fluff I say goes on it dose second if it smells get off your lazy ass and clean it

Third my dog has sat by me on every couch and chair I have ever owned and is 12 years old and sleeps in my bed. My bed doesn't stink 🦨 🦨 🦨 🦨 the couch does the difference being

My roommates dog doesn't sleep in my bed why should my dog be punished because her dog is a drooling stinky mess with no boundaries. I don't think we get to complain when I am the one who cleans up the vomit from every single animal in the house regardless of its mine or not

I'm petty and I'll admit it starting tomorrow I won't touch that couch I'll be sitting on the floor with my dog. Because if she has to put her old joints on the floor so do I. She has been with me through everything and has saved my ass more than once from being attacked and her grandmother saved my life 3 friggin time's. My loyalty falls to that dog is it petty yes do I care that I'm probably going to start a fight not one fucking bit. Am I going to build a dog bed on stilts and put it Next to my spot that only she gets to use yep am I going to buy a recliner and put it in a different room just for me And her you bet your ass.

Not in a throuble I've made it very clear over the years that I don't do polyamory 1. I don't like people
2. I'm not huge on emotions
3. I tend to get jealous and not in a way I'm going to fight for your affection. If I think you want someone else I'll walk the fuck away I'm not competing for someone who doesn't want me.

My roommate is actually a lesbian and tends to find my fiance unattractive which I'm ok with I do however get annoyed that she finds me attractive she tends to hit on me or make stupid perverted jokes which I don't like so I just roll my eyes. ( I don't find women attractive like that)

Your Animals are family and nobody who understands such would make such rules. Dog lovers don’t buy overly expensive furniture just as parents with small children shouldn’t!! That would be a deal breaker for me and if I want to snuggle my pup on a couch in our home then that’s EXACTLY what I’m going to do!! Yah I wouldn't mind saying it out right if they weren't so quick to get pissy. They get mad then stop listening. When I'm mad I'm quiet. And still listening I will come back to the convention when I'm calm and had time to think it over. But I have watched my roommate have a mental breakdown and start crying because she couldn't find something in the fridge so I walked over and set it on the counter then she promptly flipped me off and went to her room. My fiance will start slamming doors and shit when he's annoyed. I'm probably going to compromise and just buy a couch cover and will change the rule when she passes away.

I'm not saying my dog shit don't stink but Everything has a smell. And my dog doesn't smell any worse than them after work. My dog doesn't get on the furniture if she is muddy she also doesn't roll in anything gross outside. As long as I set a towel down for her she will dry herself off from the rain.

When I was a kid I had a lot of free time so she's actually trained to do quite a few things like whipe her feet on the mat.

Don't get me wrong she has her issues like she's hates her feet touched so to clip her nails I have to hold her down. She had her lag broken as a puppy.

It's not the same though I like to sit on my hip with my legs tucked behind me and I get a sense of safety of stability because my dog always curl's up behind my legs and drapes her head on my thigh. It makes me feel safe like I'm at home. I get that doesn't make sense for other people but I have almost been killed either by accident or on purpose from strangers blood relations or straight up bad luck. My dog physically touching me soothes some of the tension makes me feel like I can breathe. Not that I tell people in real life that like hell I give them a reason to think I'm weak

Indeed its a brain thing and sorry to say one leaning very much to stupidity, I love dogs very much, so much I aleays keep food in my pocket in case I meet a stray one and there are plenty here, they are very faithfull and very cute but I would never keep one in the house, either kiss one or touch it and just eat, I think its common and basic education and hygiene to not do so. I have notice in movies people kiss dogs, always keep them in the house they also dont change clothes when they get home and many lacking of hygiene behaviour ij reality they grt sick and they dont even know why. Dogs dont care they live in their own world sometimes eating from the strangest places because they can, they have really good immunity lets not forget they can eat big bones easily, they are just different from us. I've been poor my whole damn life. Anything I own is second hand. And again my dog can go outside whenever she pleases there's a dog door she can open any time she wants she chooses to hangout inside

Along with I let her out the Front door with me to tend the garden she isn't leashed or chained she chooses to stay. Near by me. she left my dad's house to find me as a kid jumping the fence in his yard.

There is 5 acres she can go run around in any time she wants but she chooses not to. .
