Do families still eat dinner together at the table?

My family always eat dinner at the table no matter what time of night... It can even be 2 am and we still have dinner at the table. Other families i know dont do this, in result... Their kids have poor table manners.

Yes. We do. We love it. No tv, no phones, no computers… just us all eating, talking. Consistent time… between 6-7pm daily. We sit for about an hour… when we have company, maybe 2 hours. We don’t eat alone.
we discuss , work, school, plan our next meals, politics, trips… etc… everything. It’s the way we bond and keep our family together.

my step-dad forced it and i absolutely fucking hated it. always was tense

now that i live with my grandma i eat by myself like 50% of the time. i think it's me catching up for all those years i wanted to lol

My family does. Now we’ll eat in front of the TV every once in a while, but family dinner is always Sunday and often a few more days in the week.

A lot of families still do. But a lot of families have one parent working late or on a night shift or they live in a home so small there is no room for a table.
