Should the mother or the father decide whether a baby boy should be circumcised?

In my opinion, the mother should have no say in whether her son should be circumcised; this decision belongs to the father.

It should be the law, and saying that all should be. You are more at risk not being cut, from Phimosis or UTI.

But since it's not the law, the mother just like how custody goes to the mother unless she's got serious issues mother wins as they birthed the child.

I think like any other decision concerning a child, two rational parents should come to a consensus decision whether the child is male or female. Everyone else can shut the fuck up. Especially the religiots.

I think neither should have a say as it's the child's body and they are the ones who should have a say as to what they want done to it, not the parents. Circumcision is cruel and unnecessary in about 99.5 % of cases. Its a vanity project.

I think it should be the child's decision, once he's old enough to consent to having a portion of his genitals cut off.

Circumcising children is barbaric, and should be straight up illegal, period.

My father, who was uncircumcised until 25, made the choice to have me cut at birth. I feel he made the best decision for me based on his own understanding.
