Just a few days now but it does feel weird.
We had a nice last week although I got pranked but I guess in good fun

It was bittersweet. We had uniforms to wear at school and we had to wear braids (no other hairstyle until you have short hair) so I wanted to graduate from school so bad because I don't like restrictions. Never did and thought I'll be taken more seriously at home when I'll start going to college but I remember when that day finally approached, all the school memories flashed before my eyes. Good, not so good, things which seemed problematic and I would stress over then seemed so trivial when I looked back, the beautiful memories with friends, memories related to school and tiffins and then spending time with siblings as a school kid... I realised then those days are gone. My friends will now go on different paths and things will never be the same. This is the last day. I looked back at school for a while. Felt really sad before I went back home with a heavy heart.
Treasure it as much as you can because when the time will come you'll definitely wish you had more time
Does ‘left’ mean it’s officially over, or just that someone stopped showing up? Life is hard if English is not your man language haha
In UK it means you no longer go to school.
No. I don't actually remember my last day of school, or even my last week. I immediately hit the road a week after graduation. I traveled for 5-6 weeks - I'm guessing about 8000-9000 miles, about half of which was hitch-hiking. It was a very memorable adventure.
When I got back, I turned around and left again for college. I went out of state a long distance away, so I lost track of most people from HS almost immediately. I semi-stayed in touch with some friends, and still hear about others word of mouth.
From what I've seen, most people move on with their lives after school. School is a big thing while it lasts, but once people get out in the real world they leave school behind.
Can confirm. I still remember it also as a moment of sadness.
Yes I originally thought I would be happy but it seems so sudden now.

We feel weird whenever we move from one level to the next one, so yes I felt weird and still feel it 👍🏻
Even at 32? I wonder if I will then
I meant I still get to feel weird whenever I move to a next level
Sure that makes sense
And keep in mind it gets more weird when you take some fateful decisions that shape your future, a different kind of weirdness 😂
🤨🤨
You will figure it out if you remembered my words in the future 😁
I remember it feeling weird, but I was also very happy to finally get away from it.
