i have not witnessed this. You may just be confusing what "love" is.
Maybe whatever statistic you have read, if any at all, disproves the idea that it is love. If it's automated and involuntary, then it's not love. ㅤ
@hardon-collider Dont be embarrassed that you haven't witnessed this. Perhaps you have limited experience with women. How many women have you been. With?
TY for reducing humans to statistics. But as humanity continues to evolve, you might one day realize that if it's not unconditional then it's not love.
@hardon-collider TY for sharing this what does this have to do with the question?
It’s not actually a rule , it just gets talked about that way.
Parent-child bonds depend more on personality, parenting style, and emotional connection than gender. Some daughters are closer to dads, some to moms; same for sons.
People notice the “daughter father” dynamic because it’s visible culturally, but love and closeness aren’t gender locked.
It’s about who makes the child feel safe, understood, and supported.
@MontBlanc So you're saying fathers make daughters feel safer?
Not exactly, it’s less about fathers specifically and more about who the child feels safe and understood with.
Sometimes that’s a dad, sometimes a mom, or even another caregiver.
@MontBlanc Im confused you said its about who make the child feel safe which seems to be the father.
Ah, I see the confusion..
It’s not about fathers specifically, it’s about the person the child feels safest with, which could be a dad, a mom, or another caregiver.
Safety and understanding matter more than gender.
@MontBlanc If that is the case then the answer to the question seems to be daughters love their fathers more because they feel safer with them?
Do they. I think daughters wrap their father's around their fingers and break their hearts.
The only sons that don't love their mother's are usually those raised badly by single mothers. Usually these guys have troubles with respecting women and with being in loyal relationships with women because they go after women like theif mothers
@hagar88 Thats a good point statistically single moms do raise worse kids
