When did you finally stop chasing friends who never reach out back?

I have two friends that I barely hear from anymore. Ever since my one friend Lou started dating this girl I barely hear from him anymore. My other friend Jim when I ask him to hangout it’s always some excuse that he can’t hangout. I hear from him time to time but never set a schedule to hangout. He’s always saying it’s been a while we should hangout but when I ask he’s always busy. I’ve been thinking a lot about our friendships and I think I’m close to cutting ties with them both. Or at least never reaching to them anymore unless they contact me first.

I'm sure man , like the rest of us, you can always make new friends. Even unlikely places. Work friends, Church friends, social club friends, a mutual interest club (hobbies, sports, golf club, country club, car club, Harley club) etc

A collection club. Just get out there and live. 😃

This dude they just hired this past summer seems pretty chill. We get along at work and I found out that he lives right up the street from me. He found another job so this is his last week. I think I’ll ask him to hangout.

Just don’t reach out until they do and you’ll find out if they care or not. No one’s too busy to chat here and there and check in at least.

I’ll see how long it takes for them to reach out first. Exactly though. Everyone has their phones glued to their hands. It seems people use the “im busy” word a lot.

I give pretty quickly when it comes to situations like that. I only have 10 or so solid friends I can rely on 24/7, but that is more than enough for me.

Yea I don’t think I’ve ever experienced the friend part yet lol. Just people that have nothing to do at the time when I’ve asked to hangout.
