Bringing friend along on second date

When I first went out with this girl I met, she decided to bring a female friend of hers, and I was OK with it. I figured it gave me the opportunity to score points through the friend. Now I have asked her out for a second time and she said yes. But how do I make it clear that this time, I want it to be just the two of us and no third wheel? What if she wants to bring a friend again? Should I:

1) Go along with it?

2) Come up with some excuse to not go on the "date"?

3) Go on the "date" but purposely give most of my attention to her friend?

4) Show up with one or more of my friends (guys or girls) and have them run interference with her friend so we can be alone?

Any other suggestions?

I probably wouldn't ask this person out again.Only weirdos do this...sorry but its just my opinion.I went out with a guys before who asked ME out,and brought his best friend along with him.This happened to me TWICE with two diffeerent guys,and it was awkward as hell BOTH times it happened.And of course,they don't TELL you they are bringing a friend,they just DO it. If she is that socially inept to not know that a "date" is usually between two people,then maybe you don't want to be bothered with her.Honestly,I think its kind of rude.It takes courage to ask someone out,so you were asking HER out...not her friend.I would personally go with option #5...don't ask her out again.

The second time this happened to me,this guy brought his best friend along who actually happened to be pretty cool.In the beginning I was annoyed that he was there,but then I was happy about it because my date was an unbelievable doucheMy date was belching out loud,didn't really say much,didn't even hold the door for me etc.His friend on the other hand was more talkative and we spoke about how he got ran over by a garbage truck.I swear,its true.In the end,I couldn't stand being there and being

"Nice" anymore,so I decided to leave..and I was tryin to do it without my date seeing me.Yes,I was going to just leave and not say ANYTHING.My date invited me to this concert that he wanted to go to for some rapper who only talks about booty.When the concert starts its basically just a bunch of girls in thongs on stage shaking there booootay.I was annoyed that he would invite me to this...so I tried to leave without him seeing me.But he found me,and I told him I was leaving.And I left.

I'd go with with 4, but it's better to just tell her, "Hey I really want to go on this date with you alone, but if you still want to bring your friend, is it okay if I bring a friend too?"

In the early stages, dates should always be one-on-one. If she tries to bring anyone with her this time, cancel the date, toss her phone number in the trash and move on.

Specify with the girl you want a one on one time. Otherwise, let her know you may bring a friend too.

If it wasn't a date I would bring friends along. A girl I'm seeing would let me know in advance if she's bringing her friend. Especially, her closest lady friend. Doesn't feel like a date when there's more people coming along. Just relax get to know her friends to if they like you makes things better.

I just want to do something to highlight the absurdity of it all. She brings one friend, I respond by bringing 4 of my friends. Best part is that she will not see it coming. Then I make some lame joke about fearing for my safety, wink wink... And I have all of my friends keep her one friend busy the whole time so we can be alone. Divide and conquer?

Its not proper dating etiquette to bring a friend. If she does it again, do not go on the date.

If I don't go, should I be direct about it or should I come up with an excuse? Should the excuse be believable or should I make it so ridiculous that she will know I'm ditching the date on purpose?

Be direct so she will know that bringing a friend is not what you do when a guy asks her out.
