My family likes my current (2nd) boyfriend and I've gone to his house too. His mother and sister are happy for us. No drama, hypocrisy nor any of those awkward conversations, none of that.

Finally real peace and all of us getting along. My parents (esp mom) hated my 1st boyfriend but like my 2nd. Is it rare for both respective families to like your partner?

Funny how when I image searched "brother sister" the pictures that came up were stuff like this - the sisters pestering the brothers. Cute though. Sorry it's not more balanced but I don't feel like looking up more photos.

I'm asking this because my husband has been thinking/hypothesizing this for years, that theoretically it should be a benefit to understand the other gender more. But every time he's asked someone who has an opposite sex sibling, they say, "Nah, hasn't helped me at all!"

What do you think?

I’d still go through with it. I’ve enjoyed life but to give another life would make me just as happy. I do worry about where the kid would end up though. I want to make sure they’re cared for by a loved one if i didn't make it out alive. But i’d pray I did. I’d take the chance. I would. I recall my ex saying in a hypothetical conversation that I better abort because we could always make another baby. I flipped him off. Sorry, but motherhood is a sensitive topic for me. And i’ll always choose to have the kid.

How do I become a professional housewife without getting married? 🤔

I’ve only met my dad once in my life, not until I was 22 years old. He took me to get some ice cream. But since then, I’ve never heard from him again.

The only reason we met each other back then is because I searched for him on one of those people search/background check websites. He moved to Alaska while my mom was pregnant with me and was still there for all these years.

But a few weeks ago, I did another search for him and I see that he’s recently moved from Alaska to the state that is right next to me.

Should I try to get in touch with him again? I’d like to have him in my life, but I don’t know if it’s a good idea to contact him when he might not be interested in getting to know me.

Do you also do it? I'm more a emotional person, so I know I can overestimate things. That's why I want your know what you think.


A friend of ours calls you. He ask how you are, you answer something like "Oh, I'm doing fine..." with a sad tone of voice and he just say "got it" and then start to talk about him. He do it 2 times, the second time asking if you'd go to a place you both have to go, you asked you totally forgot it and he answer with the same "got it"... and start talking about him again. Then ends the conversation saying he just called to know how you are and if you will go to there. You answer with the same tone of voice again that you're doing ok and taking class now, and he says "OK. Bye", then hung up.
Ps: he's a very talkative person and he talks a lot about him. So much you almost don't speak.
Other times I said what I was feeling with more details and his answer was "Oh, what a shame. Everything will be better soon, don't worry" and then starting talking about something else.

Can they be sued or is it just an educated guess? The docs told my mom she was having a boy but she had a girl instead. They bought all sorts of blue stuff and boy clothes in preparation. When she gave birth, they were surprised to get a girl instead. They already had a boy name picked out for me, thus explaining whats now my middle name. A lot of my classmates parents were told the opposite as well. I honestly wouldn't even do a gender reveal party because its likely to be misleading. I rather just find out when I give birth and i’ll decorate the nursery with neutral colors like pastel yellow. My babys name is unisex anyways.

I’m 24, ever since I moved to my own studio & driving at 23 parents have been angry that I’m an adult. They don’t treat me with respect or like adult, if I don’t do what they say , mom talks over me yells super loud to win me. she don’t listen a word at all. Mom curses at me tells me shut up, idiot, or fuck you. dad laughs in angry way as I say I’m adult rolling his eyes. they think 24 is a 5 year old. they don’t get most girls at 24 have babies. they never call or bother siblings that are married. they only talk to them 1 time a year. they want see me broke, crying for mom like baby. they don’t want see me strong healthy not sick & living alone. i don’t see 24-28 year old crying for thier mommy. parents don’t see me cuz they miss me, I saw them yesterday & all they ddI was try control me interfere in my life. get angry wen they don’t get thier way. it was 2 months I don’t see them but think now I will not see them one year or half year. each time I see them I come home crying misery depresed. They defend a toxic guy that is my ex and still talk to him daily and love him. Who defends a random bad guy and not thier daughter? they don’t respect & stop talking of that person. they love him & are brainwashed. They crossed the line, I cannot forgive parents that don’t defend their daughter. no parents do this. Mom called me demanding pick me up to go to Thanksgiving at brothers house far away with his wife, I was working & she didn’t care & just demanded pick me up like I’m a toy or baby, we fought & she cursed at me. Who gets cuz I’m working? wtf is wrong with that? im an adult I don’t need go see married bro n wife. I’m an adult women. What if I want be with my man and not bro n wife? i no longer sit in parents car while they fight. No grown adult does that either.

I don't like that she buys them presents when she visits and told them they could not have them. She is now not speaking to me because I was telling them not to eat her stuff because we are all on a gluten free diet. they were rude and mean to her she asked them why and she said it's because I told them to. I didn't say that but she doesn't believe me because I have trashed her to them in the past. She seemed really hurt and said she can't believe I would stoop that low.
