I take it, you are getting into ages, out-of-shape and with limited financial resources. Additionally you come with a drinking problem as you consider beer a solution. In such case, thank you very much, for not presenting you more desireable, than you actually are. At least one woman, who has taken a reality view on her own SMV.
Well, guys will say all the time how ugly a certain woman is, or she's fat, a dog, hag, or whatever. So yeah I think you guys do like supermodels.
The fact that those of us who aren't supermodel never get asked out despite having outgoing personalities is pretty discouraging. I used to try to look sexy so I'd wear clothes I thought were supposed to be "flattering" or "hide" my figure but now I'm like "You know what, it just is what it is."
These are not the kind of guys you want to have been asked out - they are looking for one thing with supermodels: Sex. But there are men like me, who look for more than just sex: Women's love, acceptance, friendship and more personal relationships.
Of course... I'm just not going to fuss the way I used to, worrying about if I'm attractive enough to get a guy.. If I should wear a sexier outfit, redo my nail polish, etc. I stopped wearing polish a year ago and my nails are so much healthier
Good for you :):) I'm sure there'll be a man for you. Letting loose and being comfortable and free in your own skin is arguably one of the most attractive things you can be. Tops nails, makup, manicures and whatever other veneer you can plaster on yourself :) Not that those things are bad, to the contrary they're fantastic too but just not necessary.
Thats good that you don't want to please people anymore in that aspect. I personally do it to make me feel good about myself—you look good, you feel good. But most of time if I could i'd be in sweats for the rest of my life.
I hope that you realise that it isn't all a bothered. And finding time to get your hair done, massage, etc. is relaxing and good for your soul. But each to their own!
i never dressed up for a man and won't continue to, if he doesn't accept me for me then he's not worth the dressing up for when the occasion calls for it.

I was expecting a feminist rant, but I was surprised and found this take to be valid. Your points make sense. But hey, we DO notice what girls wear.
All valid points except 7. Romantic sexual guys do care how you dress. You do you though. Nothing wrong with that.
If I met one and he showed interest, I'd dress for him! I'm just tired of dressing for someone who doesn't exist every time I go out.
I understand.
Only women find supermodels attractive.
I find their taste questionable in women, though.

I find casual clothing a turn on and fancy clothes and dressing up not as much so this doesn't apply to me.
You don't have to dress for men, you can do it for urself.
I always want to look neat tidy and dress according to occasion. And look ur age and yourself.

And if things don't work out, there's always beer...
Beerz!!!
Good for you :):)

there's 3 kinds of men:
those who think about girls in summer with bikini and all
those who think about girls and hot chocolate in front of a good movie near the fireplace during snowy winter days
those who think about all of that...
I hope that you realise that it isn't all a bothered. And finding time to get your hair done, massage, etc. is relaxing and good for your soul. But each to their own!
I like this. #8 "I'm too old for this shit" lol every woman sooner or later gets to this stage. Lolllll I dress for me and comfort!
Good take. I don't give a shit about what men want to see. If they don't find what I'm wearing attractive then it's their problem, not mine.
I love being 'tomboy' too. But you can still make it look really sexy, even w/o makeup and special clothes.
i never dressed up for a man and won't continue to, if he doesn't accept me for me then he's not worth the dressing up for when the occasion calls for it.
That's good, actually. I find self-respecting women attractive.
we know its fake women will always dress to impress men, please do you thing bu t dont lie to yourself
I can't dress up and do my makeup everyday anyway 'cause I'm a poor af. But I like your MyTake anyway because I'd be the same if possible. :)
You dressed for men before?
Totally
Oh.. shame to hear but glad you're happy and the such now.
im 17 and i act like this already, i still dress up but the way i like not how others like it. i still shave.
