Don't just throw your clothes out when they have a little wear and tear to them or buy something brand new when you can re-design something you already have in your wardrobe. With some scissors, glue, thread, and time, you can make something old, new again with these 6 re-design projects.

2. Glitter Shoes
Take an old pair of shoes, make sure they are clean. Tape off any areas you do not want glitter on like the underside of the shoe. Then brush on some jewel glue, and sprinkle away with glitter or other small jewels or beads. Allow to dry.
3. Mittens
As pictured, trace, and cut out a glove design slightly bigger than your own hands. You're then going to turn the fabric inside out and stich the two sides together by hand or with a sewing machine before then turning them right side out again for the gloves to be complete.
4. Petal Shorts
As pictured, chalk, draw, carefully cut until you have the desired look.
5. Beaded Anything
Depending on how many you want on your jacket, bag, or other item, this is just a matter of spacing the beads where you want and hand sewing them onto the clothing item for the desired effect.
6. T-shirt pillow case
Take a t-shirt big enough to fit around your desired pillow plus a few inches. Cut into square, rectangle, or other shape of pillow. Then, all the way round, take edges and cut into 2 inch or more long strips. Place pillow inside and then hand tie strips all the way round until pillow is secure.
