Tall Girls, You Are Cute Too!

Hello beautiful models of the world. I'm going to list reasons why I think being a tall girl is awesome, since I used to be insecure about it but honestly it's tons of fun and you have a lot of sex appeal and potential as a tall girl! Here are my reasons:

1.You have legs for days, all the days of the fricking week!

Even if your upper body is longer than your lower body, you still have proportionatey long legs compared to short girls, why do you think short girls wear heels? Sure, it also makes your butt look good, but it's mostly for the legs, but guess what? You don't even need heels. Though when you do wear heels you look 100× sexier! So show off those long legs.

2.You have lean, long beautiful arms

Studies have shown that men are not only attracted to long legs, but also lean and long arms! You easily have that because of your height! So show off those gorgeous arms as well!

3. Even if you're overweight, you'll still look skinnier than you actually are

Believe me, this is a major + for you. I was overweight at a 190 lbs ( I'm 5'11) and try to imagine if I was that weight at 5'5, for example? Many people used to say I wasn't overweight when I really was, but the height hid it so well!

4. Who says you won't find a taller guy?

You don't have to force yourself to like guys shorter than you if you really don't. I like guys taller than me and I have found guys that like me who are taller than me/around my height. Not all guys have the same preference, although I think most everyone can agree that tall girls and models tend to look sexy!

5. You can be cute too!

If you want to be cute and do cute things then be it! There is no rule that says only short girls can be cute and feminine (I've heard this one from some insecure people but don't let other people's problems get you down!) And if you aren't the cute type, you have the option of being sexy! With your killer legs and your lean arms, with your head held up high and your sexy confidence, no one will be able to keep their eyes off of you.

6. Clothes look really good on you.

You are like a walking display of what you're wearing. I can't tell you how many people have said to me that clothes look really nice on my body because I'm more noticeble and so especially if I'm wearing a nice outfit it's more out there and displayed fully and really well. So wear the right type of clothes for your body type and you'll rock your height! Especially long outfits like maxi dresses or maxi skirts, those look super good on a tall girl!

7. Last but certainly not least, who says tall girls don't have curves?

Blake lively? Ashley Graham? Kate Upton? Beyonce? and these are just a few. Even if you don't have curves, believe me different guys are into different things and you'll most definitely find a guy that is compatible with you and also likes you just the way you are. No I'm not saying you should settle for less and I won't tell you that 'you'll find a guy to love you just the way you are' because even if you do, the guy might not be right for you. You can still get the guy YOU like to like you back and want you.

By the way I'm not putting down short or in-between girls, y'all have a lot of pros and good things about you too! But this is from my perspective for any girl who's feeling down about her height and I really hope you all liked what I had to say. You keep being you!

This is a great myTake that celebrates tall girls. I see a lot of posts from tall girls under 18 saying how self-conscious they are about their height. I always try to reassure them that their height is a beautiful thing and they should stand up straight and proud. If they're taller than lots of guys at their age that will change as the guys keep getting taller (the girls' growth spurts end sooner usually). Anyway, thank you for celebrating tall girls!

The prettiest girl in our class was 5'8" and she was hella cute, so it's false that tall girls can't be feminine and cute. (I'm 5'2.5" tall and it's considered tall for a woman in our country, so imagine how tall she is for us. She's taller than the average guy.) And I know many short girls that can be described as hot.

As you can see, I never really came across very tall girls. I mean I did, but they are very less and rare.

You know what the sad thing is about here? It is impossible for a girl to find a husband if she is either too tall or too short than the preferred range of height. People are so shallow it hurts. And I am saying this despite being a desirable height for where I live. 😑😒 How shallow.

@zagor Women in our country are very short. Even boys are as short as 5'6" in average over here. So yes she is very tall for us.

You just have to shut down what people say of what you should or should not be. As a short girl, I envied before tall girls, and I know some tall girls would envy short girls. It's the moment you realise that everyone has insecurities and society has a way of criticizing anything that you start accepting yourself as you are.

I am a believer of the all shapes and sizes idea, there is no reason why you have to be in a very limiting set of types to be considered attractive. I do often find tall girls attractive and at 5'9 there will be a few taller than me, add in heels quite a few.

Tall girls are as hot as short girls. I would happily date a 5'10"+ girl if she was ok with the height difference. I don't height factors much into my attraction for women. I like 'em small or big. Haha...

Nice Take! I am 5'10 and loving wearing my heels all the time. Someone once told me that by being tall I didn't need them... so, the answer was: sorry little dude, it's not for you, I wear them for myself!

True, not everyone realises this but tall girls can be insecure and believe they aren't feminine, cause societal brainwashing convinces us a girl should be shorter than & be protected by the man.
So yeah, compliments on height are actually apreciated by tall girls.

In any case, height doesn't matter (I'm 5'8, dating an amazing guy shorter than me & i do not regret it!) & while you can be insecure sometimes, you can also learn to own it like some examples this mytake suggests

All of my friends are super tall and I get really jealous. Not only do they look thinner, but they can also eat more without gaining weight. And they just look so graceful and elegant all the time.

Cute doesn't have anything to do with height in my opinion. The tallest girl I know smiles all the time, so she's absolutely cute, even more so than shorter girls. Maybe it's just her cheeky smile though.

You have way more advantages though !
Easier shopping experience , bigger dating pool since you're shorter than most guys , you look cuter , less back and posture problems, you don't tower over everyone you meet , you probably have a more proportional body since fat distribution is better when you're shorter , small hands and feet which looks cute and also means you can find shoes your size easier and if you like wearing heels you'll still look petite and short in them but have stunning legs ! So good for you Tbh, being tall is great but being short also has a lot of advantages that we all wish we could have.

aha im flattered but actually clothes shopping is kind of hard because it's all to big or too long or loose. Also it's a lot easier to look fatter when you're shorter, and heavy weights look worse. like if I get over 95-100lbs i start looking chubby. i'm like a little under 80lbs right now and I look fine. being short, you can weigh way less and not look too skinny. also when you are short you can't eat as much. i only need around 1300 calories a day
