Have you ever wondered why men and women dress differently for the office? In particular, women tend to wear dresses while men wear shirt and pants, sometimes with a jacket.
Here's a typical woman dressed for the office ...
... and here's a typical man.
Notice the major difference? It's the amount of skin that's exposed to view.
The woman's face, arms, hands, legs and upper chest are uncovered, compared to the man who only shows his face and hands.
Ever wonder why that is?
It goes back to basic biology ... and history.
The innate instinct in every species is to reproduce, to procreate and continue the species. To that end, a female's role is to attract a worthy male, while the male's role is to respond to the female's attraction.
In humans, the best way to do that for the female is to show off her body, which also increases the amount of attracting pheromones. Okay, not every woman wants to procreate every day at the office, but the basic instinct is still there.
Historically, men worked in dirty and sometimes dangerous jobs, where covering up was a benefit, to protect their bodies.
So, now we know ... what do you think?
