Do you like extreme open front/cropped hoodies?

I have mixed feelings about them. On some days I absolutely LOVE them and on other days, they make me cringe. They cost the same amount if not more, than a full hoodie so I'm thinking of just cropping an old hoodie. I kind of feel iffy about cutting a full hoodie because once I cut it, I can't reverse it to the original.

What do you think of extreme cropped hoodies? Are they cute? Are they worth it?
