How can I convince my mom to let me grow my beard?

So I’m 18
I've been growing facial hair ever since last year
I have a lot of hair... everywhere & its curly.

My mom wants my facial hair to be very thin..
I don’t
Right now my facial hair looks like this

Without the mustache , she always calls me wolverine and we do have similar facial hair

This is how I want my facial hair to look

Just like that...
i don’t know how I’d look with a mustache but we’ll see.
Anyway my mom probably wouldn’t let me live under her room with a beard like that

She did say I’m 18 now so she can’t force me to shave, she’ll just be upset with me if I don’t...
Last thing
she wants me to go to a barber shop but I don’t want to.. I like how I look naturally.. She beggsss me to go..

Trust me, girls like beards that don't look like a Rabbi or a homeless biker going on level 72 wizard. Grow it out, then go to the barber for a trim and a shaping. You can thank me later.

Also, screw you for being able to grow facial hair at 18. I was 26 before I could do anything

Mine had no color until i was 26. If i went days without shaving the shadow made my face look dirty lol.

Dude I have long rocker hair on my head. My mother wants it chopped. I went with “Jesus had long hair. Why can’t I?” It worked for me. You could maybe get off with that.
