Girls, do you have or want a thigh gap?
Share your opinions.

I think as long as you’re not a full circle shape and lost your figure, most guys will find you attractive wether you have a thigh gap or not...
As long as you resemble a human female shape and nit a circle.
But what I have noticed in difference between someone who has a thigh gap and someone who doesn’t... is that from behind when you slightly bend over either standing or laying on your side, without panties girls with high gaps give a more full look into their pussy... which in my opinion well it’s more eye opening? Lol You can see the full pussy everything... as oppose to someone without gaps, while bending over or bent while laying sideways, you can’t see the full thing perhaps only a bit if anything at all.. you’d have to open yourself more up either opening legs more or using your hands to open, while the ones with thigh gaps you can see everything while only slightly bending...
And perhaps that’s the reason a lot of guys prefer it? ... pussy seems more exposed?
I don’t know that’s just a plausible reason..
I don’t have a thigh gap and I don’t wish to have one. I do love my legs the way they are.
I am 25 years old and I have a partial thigh gap. My upper thighs touch, however my lower thighs (by my knees) do not.
My female friends point it out often, however to me it's not a huge deal. Like it's my body, I'm healthy weight, and I'm a small petite thing at 5ft 1, i'm about 112lbs and tiny.
My mother has the same shape as me. More of a rectangular shape, and her thighs touch.
Honestly this trend is ridiculous and shouldn't even be a trend among society.
Same with that stomach reaching trend I see everywhere, where you are supposed to reach around your left side with your right arm, and see if you can touch your belly button. That will define how thin you are.
like WTF
These things have to STOP.
I love thigh gaps, but only when their legs aren't as skinny as the pictures shown there. Their legs are a bit too skinny. Which is still preferable to fat thighs. The skinny legs are okay, but not ideal. I love the thigh gaps where they have good looking thighs and just have a gap at the top. Gah. It's hard to describe, so I'll just post a pic.
cdn.ebaumsworld.com/.../82884811.jpg
That, maybe a bit more of a gap going down a bit further, is my ideal preference. The skinny legs are second, but they kinda look too skinny.
And I don't know what it is that men like about it. I think it's just one of those things. Like boobs. Can't really describe why people like boobs. They just do.
i am a guy and i don't find them attractive. not that i find them unattractive it just doesn't register one way or another
it seems like just another unnecessary way people can scrutinize themselves and others needlessly

I think body shape trends are terrible because you can't choose or change your shape.
It's horrifyingly, disturbingly, projectile-vomit-inducingly unattractive, as are all the symptoms of anorexia: the xenomorph protruding spinal cord, the xylophone ribs, the moustache, the bad skin, the death breath, the mental illness... and the leg gap. Because a 'thigh gap' would actually be OK, but this is a whole leg gap, which is wrong. Legs are meant to have muscles (in fact they contain the largest muscles in the body), spaghetti legs are fugly. They don't even look like legs, they're more like microphone stands.
A woman should naturally have three gaps where daylight can shine through between her legs, one at the very top, one above her knees (naturally what a 'thigh gap' is meant to be) and one below her knees. Fewer gaps than this and she's too fat, more and she's too thin.
This is not opinion-based, but biology based, even the fact that it's unattractive is biological and not subjective, as a normally functioning brain should instinctively be able to tell a gap-legged woman is physically or mentally ill or both, and is unfit to bear children.
The best-looking legs are the one that get used, they're not just for show. Using them for things like walking (posing for selfies doesn't count) keeps them toned and stops the muscles from atrophying away to nothing. Remember this: no anorexic woman has ever won a credible beauty contest, no anorexic woman has ever won an Olympic medal, no anorexic woman has ever been a centrefold model - so where do these people get the idea that being anorexic is going to make them more attractive - to whom? A hungry dog looking for a bone to chew?
First, unless you're in a swim suite, why are you wearing clothes in public that show that off? Yoga pants, leggings or jeggins are really not leaving enough to the imagination. 2nd: Different strokes for different folks. Most guys (myself included) don't think about Thigh Gaps and don't care. Some guys may find them sexy, but it's pretty superficial to spend much time on it. Like other's have said, it has a lot to do with your genes (not your jeans - your biology). Some girls could be really skinny (for them) and never have a thigh gap while others are naturally thinner and can't seem to put on weight and couldn't loose the gap if they wanted to. I personally kind of like thinner girls, but I also appriciate curves. The pictures of the girls with thigh gaps look like they are either prepubescent or sick. Please worry about being healthy first. If you are healthy and have a gap, great. If you are healthy and there is no light between your thighs, that's great too. Treat yourself as if you were somebody that you care about.
Used to have one... I was severe underweight 3 years ago... I was around 5.5 and weight around 70 lbs... But i started to practice sports to gain muscle, and. Also eat in order to gain some weight... Now im healthier im 5.7 and almost duble my weight from back then... And I'm happy... Im still fit, im between size 6 and 8... i have no tight gap, because they are rather muscular.. But it couldn't bother me less... Im healthy and happy and i love. My body and my stretch marks because they show my progress
I think it’s harmful not just to girls, but to guys as well. It sets up a stupid stigma, it’s a trend, it’s another way for girls to obsess and freak out over their bodies and another impossible standard for guys to drool over. Overall, it’s a ridiculous idea for all people to judge someone on, opening up to thinner girls being labeled with an eating disorder and heavier girls as fat.
Some girls are built to where their bodies can have a thigh gap, others aren’t. Some girls weigh less or more than others, resulting in a thigh gap. There’s already a new big trend starting, something about the pelvic area of a girl being called a triangle? When are people going to stop making up these ideals? It’s never ending.
I’ve learned what looks best for my body and I work on what’s good for me, not something that isn’t healthy for me or is just a body trend.
Thigh gaps exist because everyone is unique in anatomy and physiology and it has nothing to do with being fit, slender, overweight, etc., it has all to do with bone structure, specifically the width of your hips relative to the length of your femoral head, or the highest part of your thigh bone. You are either born with a wide gap, or you’re not; the existence of a thigh gap is falsely perceived as an attribution to a slender build. The size of your thigh gap is relative to your bone structure, not your weight.
Thigh gaps cannot exist on people with thick thighs. It has nothing to do with bones. Everybody technically would have a thigh gap when there's only femur bones, without adipose tissue and muscles, but it's these that fill the thigh gap.
It depends. Most girls who have thigh gaps are naturally really attractive to me, but not because of the thigh gap, but because those ladies are usually in great shape and have great genetics. I have no preference between the look of a butt with a thigh gap and a butt without one. The girls in the above picture for instance are not particularly attractive to me, and the thigh gap did not win them any points. I am sure they are pretty girls, ans their hair is amazing, but I prefer someone shaped like Amy Poehler or Aly Raisman lol
I don't like the skinny thigh gap. I like how the third one looks, it's similar to mine.
This is the thigh gap I like and want to keep. www.xplosivegrowth.com/.../...ap-feature-image.png
I'm with you.
If I would date a women of that first pic, it would be like heaven. It would drive me crazy.
I think that first girl looks like a child or is somewhat unhealthy. There are very healthy athletes who have a gap. I admit that is sexy, but only when they are adults and healthy. E. g. checkout the soloflex models.
@jdrrichmond I think that you mean second, not first,
Aren't the top two pics (side by side) the same girl?
@jdrrichmond I meant Jemini's picture which we are replying. That left one would absolutely drive me crazy.
I find the thigh gap trend is really annoying. If you naturally have a thigh gap, I’m fine with that. As long as you don’t have a thigh gap just because it’s a trend, I’m fine.
I don’t understand why people always desire the most difficult or the unique things, and then get sad when they don’t meet every point. That also happens to people who are not trying to chase the standards. I myself get sad, because I don’t have thigh gap, I don’t have tanned skin and blah blah blah.
Why can’t everybody just be pretty by being unique ne not having to fit the standards? Because of our society.
The gap puts my gf's vulv out there in my face when she is walking around nude. If she is over the sink putting on makeup her pretty vulv is looking back at me talking to me giving me a ho again. The shape of a pretty vulv is accentuated with some gap and I have a vulv fetish.
Believe it or not, a thigh gap was originally a basis for claiming a woman's legs spent too much time apart/open (i. e. she was having a lot of illicit sex/she was a prostitute, etc.) I think it's just another way to ridicule women based on their weight, just another way to body shame.
This picture sums it up perfectly for me.
Most guys don't care. If you look good then you look good; it is that simple. Lots of these trends for women are stupid and most guys don't care or think they look ugly. For example, 99% of guys can't tell the difference between a fake and real type of clothing, yet women buy them all the time and think they look better for it. Most fashion things, like the one you said is ment to impress other women and not guys.
I really don’t understand why a thigh gap is a thing. I mean, it’s just how much space you have between your thighs, literally. Why is that even relevant? Even in bed, when you’re having sex, you’re gonna spread your legs anyway and then there’ll really be a gap, because that’s how it functions. Does it have to matter aesthetically?
What would be wrong with having a thigh gap at all? Just like, what would be wrong with having no thigh gap? Why do we have to keep women competing against each other? If a girl wants to wear slightly revealing clothes and makeup, and have a YouTube career, then let them. If a girl wants to wear t-shirt with jeans and no makeup, and play video games all day, then let them. STOP PITTING GIRLS AGAINST EACH OTHER! IT'S NOT FUNNY ANYMORE. IT'S JUST MAKING EVERYONE LOOK LIKE A**HOLES!
Men who like thigh gaps generally don't understand how one achieves a thigh gap. It isn't something every woman can achieve. On top of being thin you have to have wide-set hips. It's genetic and unachievable for many. Not to mention comes at the expense of other physical features men find attractive.
@furqan112 Wide-set hips refers to the bone structure of hips. It's a common phrase in English used to describe a specific type of bone structure in the hips. And yes genetics implies biological traits that can not be changed. Am I correct in guessing that English isn't your first language? Or is wide-set hips not used outside of Canada?
It's a very good question. Ultimately, it doesn't (or shouldn't) matter. If you're with a guy and it's an important thing to him, he might be superficial and shallow.
It also doesn't seem very realistic that women (especially) have such narrow thighs.
The bottom line is; it doesn't matter what you look like. It's how you act, how you treat others that matters. ;)
I find it unattractive, it makes a woman look extremely thin, borderline anorexic, it just shouts "I'm starving myself to look like this".
Obviously some people have it naturally, but many really force themself into unhealthy habits like starvation or litterally trying to bend their muscles just to have a thigh gap.
Most guys don't care much one way or the other. It's women who are obsessed with the idea because a handful of men mentioned it at some point.
I would say that it's probably a minor "plus" for a lot of guys, but certainly not a high priority for the the vast majority.
Actually I used to have a thigh gap. I was skinny my entire life. But put a lot of effort into eating a lot and I eventually gained 20 pounds. I don't have a thigh gap anymore and I am at a healthy weight and my bmi is healthy. So from my experience thigh gaps are usually people who are underweight.
@vaibhav29 Thank you 😊
Thigh gaps are fine. So are not having thigh gaps. There is no option for "fine either way." I like the gap, but too often the girls are too skinny to get them, but it's not the gap that's bad, it's the too skinny. I just want a healthy girl, if that means a thigh gap then fine, if not, fine too. The thing I find most attractive is healthiness.
I used to find them attractive before I started my recovery but now to me they're just a reminder of what's wrong with society and how far women are pushed to be considered beautiful. I don't usually find them unattractive exactly but on a girl like in that picture it just looks unhealthy and childlike which is a major turn off for me and probably anyone else who is not a pedophile or pedophile adjacent.
Best wishes for your continuing recovery. Your a beautiful girl already. Be a happy and healthy one too.
It's physically impossible for me to have a thigh gap. My legs are placed really close together. The "trend" makes me angry, because all people don't understand that it's about how one's legs are attached to the hips and people starve themselves to get the thigh gap without realizing it's impossible for them.
Yes, it's hot, but, there's an old saying: play to your strengths. If you have a thigh gap, use it to your advantage. If you don't have a thigh gap, don't waste your time or energy worrying about it. Figure out what people like about you, and learn to use and improve on what you have.
I used to want one. Really bad. And then I realized it was a stupid thing to feel shitty about not having. It's not really something you can control. I have a weird little gap that I've noticed since I lost weight. My thighs touch, but there's a space right under my lady parts that gaps.
Now that's sexy
@bklynbadboy1 lol it's weird.
Why is that weird lol
Doesn't matter if there is a gap. So many girls think that it looks very attractive which leads them to unhealthy beauty image and they lose a lot of weight due to that. Men are attracted to feminine features. Not skin and bones just to achieve a thigh gap.
I think that for thigh gap to exist many women have to be too skinny. If it's possible without being that skinny I think it's okay, but I don't feel it makes the girl more or less sexier for having the gap.
You know... Those two girls in the top doesn't have curves, they look like little girls, they are nice but not sexy at all. The blond girl in the bottom have curves, looks sexier for me (I find really sexy a notable difference between hip and waist).
I guess this is the 'TRENDING' question, that everyone MUST answer, or it won't go away!
Kind of a stupid thing, FORCING a question, because some don't really care about the topic, and maybe, getting annoyed, by how it comes UP, ALWAYS, are maybe more likely to answer in ways that are not expected!
I read an article in a magazine years ago and it was about a young women who went to a plastic surgeon because she wanted a "thigh gap" but, unfortunately died 13 hours after the procedure because the surgery caused a pulmonary embolism (blood clot in lung) and died at the age of 23, It was a tragic story. ☹
Truthfully I find no appeal in thigh gaps. I feel like they tend to be a result of a girl just being really skinny... like... to a near unhealthy extent which is the opposite of attractive in my eyes. At least in regards to these pictures you've provided. Generally speaking I don't really think about girls having or not having thigh gaps, but based on these pictures I find the bottom more attractive due to the lack of thigh gap.
If a guy gives a shit about a thigh gap he is SHALLOW. Although, this hypothetical man in question being an entitled, shallow prick is probably what women are attracted to in the first place, so the best thing to do in that scenario is for the woman to just ask him directly how she should remake minute details of her body for him.
Thigh gaps AND skinny legs? Eww. Nasty combo.
Thigh gaps are natural so I can’t say they’re bad but when you have no meat to compensate, you just look like a stick figure. And... I like HUMANS. Not weird kindergarten looking drawings who are supposed to be human😂 that girl in the last pic is a 10/10. The others need a burger.
I don't give a fuck about it. Why should I care aside from edge cases?
An example of an edge case would be something like a proficiency at football since, at least for men's football, the chance to have a thigh gap is for some reason greatly increased.
It doesn't matter. People overrate this s#it. Its not a big deal. If you are not fat or really thin anorexic like , then you are attractive to an a least one guy. Why people work too hard to gain these? You need to educate yourself. A thigh gap is because of the bones and your body. You can't change it even if you loose weight.
I have a slightly thigh gap and its just a triangle thing beetween my legs and they touch just a little. (And by the way I have big thighs ) And believe , no guy told me things like "omg , I like your gap " and they say something like "you are really pretty " or "you are gorgeous". Its a stupid trend. Big thighs still win more hearts than skelleton legs.
I honestly do not like them. The girl is either underweight or it's her natural shape. I would love to take one on a 10 mile hike in the woods on a mountain and see how far she could make it. lol. I like some muscle on women who can keep up and who can kick ass when needed.
That's not an African thing when you're that skinny we always assume a person is sick very few and I mean very very few people are that skinny and we are not a continent full of skinny people, we find that suspicious being that skinny. I'm a size 8 and I'm considered too skinny lol
Exhibit A
You look great and I agree
Thigh gaps are for skeletons. The only thing that having a thigh gap achieves is drawing the eyes to your camel toe. Thigh gap is an overrated trend.
The thigh gap looks good, generally because to get it, the body has to be much leaner, accentuating the female form. A lot of it also comes from a wider hip spread, which subliminally tell a man that the body is fertile, driving our attraction to it. Is it really important? No, it's not that important in the bigger picture.
It's most likely biology or an eating disorder. I have big thighs but I've always been told by men (at least the ones I've been with) that they prefer them over thigh gaps. Every woman I know who has one is just simply built that way and it fits their body shape/frame
It's either a result of being too skinny , or having wide hips. I think it's less about the gap and more about why a girl has the gap , which is wide hips and thats considered attractive. However, thick thighs are considered attractive and important in a feminine fat distribution and childbirth, so a 'thigh gap' isn't that important , especially if the woman has thick thighs and wide hips. It doesn't matter that much to have one.
What is attractive about girl who constantly has her legs open, on of the great parts if sex is slowly caressing her and then working up to her opening her legs if it's always accessible the isn't any work and you don't have that moment of submission and offering of one's body to another. Also who doesn't like some meat on their gurl.
It's usely the girls personality if shebis nice an comfortable in who she is you can be the most beautiful girl in the world but if you have a bad attitude then your not attractive to most guys so it's just how we treat. People that makes us attractive
I LOVE women with thigh gaps, because it gives me a chance to see both an exquisite camel toe and where I hope that I will be able to put my talented tongue and mouth where she will experience the most fulfilling orgasm she has ever had or will ever have.
u should get the fuck outta here if ur really 70
KenyadaSyriaque, I am REALLY 70 and do NOT have to listen to the mewling puke of someone with such a tiny brain as yours. The site owner/moderator allowed me to join and I will stay here until he/she asks me to leave!
Ur just fucking creepy
at least it pushes women to wanna be less fat but actually the fat people usually won't change cause of that so they will keep unhealthy and eating in self pity so who gives a damn rly? the girls who already are skinny af so I would rather fuck a meaty pussy than go Mrs Skellington but who cares really
I think they're overrated. I prefer girls with nice legs without a thigh gap. Thigh gaps are usually on young girls with no meat on their bones. More mature women with curves don't have it, from what I've seen.
What is a tight gap?
It sounds like a little to much of something. Be yourself and not what you think others want. Told it today on another question. Beauty has 2 sides, being pretty and feeling good. Feeling good makes you smile and happy. I am sure that smilling is more attractive than a tight gap?
As far as I’m concerned, thigh gaps are just another way girls can beat themselves up over body image. A girl without a thigh gap whom puts herself out there will always beat a thigh-gapped prude. You’re already perfect just the way you are.
It’s not healthy ONLY if you’re trying to attain a thigh gap. I don’t think that should be an aspiration, everyone’s bodies are different. But if you have one then that doesn’t mean you’re unhealthy! Again, everyone has different bodies!
I Wouldn't Call It A Thigh Gap Cause I Have Just A Peep Hole Sized Gap Right Under My You Know & Then My Thighs Touch. I Don't See The Big Deal About Thigh Gaps Though, I Thought Thick Thighs Were In Trend Anyways Lol
2nd pic looks sooooo much better to me. I don't know how anyone would want to look like the girls in the first picture.
I'd like to have one. Unfortunately I'm blessed with meat around my thighs and could only dream of having one. It kinda depends too. It looks unhealthy on other and look completely natural on the lucky ones.
like the way you described
1. Thigh gaps are actually known to make you more "loose."
2. Legs are about shape, not size. Keep em fit, whether they're thick or thin.
3. I'm a guy with a thigh gap, and I hate dropping things between them
4. As long as you're eating healthy and staying in shape, it'll look good regardless of if you have a gap or not
1. It's not a trend, it's a long term thing girls tend to obsess about sometimes.
2. I've never met a non-anorexic guy who truly cares.
3. Those poll options don't really align with the question. Having something isn't an opinion, it's a fact.
I find them attractive but for an x rated reason. I enjoy the view of a woman with a thigh gap bent over with nothing on. It however is just something I like but it is not a requirement. I find the female form beautiful no matter what.
While it’s cool in porn to see a girl’s lips between her legs in the “thigh gap”, I’m also realistic that very few girls have the right hip/leg structure for this or a small enough body. Cool to see, but I’m not likely to meet someone with it.
I’m surprised so many men are attracted to thigh gaps as I feel that girls that have them are too skinny but I suppose some men like really skinny girls. For myself I’m glad I don’t and I have some great curves, and I’m not a big person by any means.
you are so beautiful
I don't have an opinion on it to be honest.
I think there are far more pressing things to concern myself with if I am dating a girl than whether she has a thigh gap or not. If I were a woman the whole thing would seem silly to me to worry about.
Okay, first off those first two are not fucking healthy in any universe, ew and ew.
Number three? Can't even tell, her thigs are pretty far apart but look rather the perfect kind of thickness.
So a definite no. Except for 3.
I find them attractive, I don't know why I just do, but then again I find girls that don't have it attractive too so I guess it goes to say that it's not the most important or attractive feature to me on a girl.
A thigh gap is body type dependent, not necessarily weight... and the idea that women should have thigh gap is such an unattainable notion, and stems from ignorant, shallow thinking.
