Do you prefer pale skin, tan skin, or do you not have a preference?

I just read a featured myTake from a guy saying that tan skin is inherently more attractive than pale skin, and that people are biologically rooted to find pale skin “unhealthy” and ugly. As someone who personally believes pale skin is much more attractive and sexy than tan skin, this got me wondering if my preference is actually as rare as this guy says it is. My guess would be that the majority of people probably don’t actually care, but between those that do, it’s most likely pretty even. So which do you like more? Tan or pale? And is there any particular reason why you prefer what you prefer (or don’t prefer either)?

I would say tan looks good on most guys to me, but pale is fine also, i'm extremely pale myself but i'd say i really don't have much of a preference, i'm attracted mainly to white guys but if they're tanned or not tanned i'd say isn't really a issue to me.

Well, it's everyone's own opinion about skin. But I like tanning skin as it shines more and attractive. So, I would go with tan skin. I’m 95% more attracted to Tanner or darker skin than Pale. Very pale skin does look a bit sickly to me. I’m not disgusted by it, and I still would probably go for a pale skin woman. But if you put them side by side and told me to choose. 9.5/10 I would choose the tan one. Tan and dark haired is how I love them

I prefer pale. Even if it is a Hispanic girl I like the more pale looking ones. When someone's skin is too dark (especially their knuckles, etc.) it makes them look dirty to me.

I don't have any preferences in terms of skin tone themselves, but rather in combinations : pale skin + dark hair + cold blue eyes or tanned + dark red hair + green/blue/light brown eyes...
