Tan only looks good if it's your actual skin colour or if it's from being outside in the sun but even then you're risking getting skin cancer if it's too often. Fake tan looks so tacky and trashy I dont know why some people buy it.
I also dont understand why people often use this line "Wow I look so pale, need to put some. bronzor on to look healthier"... mate that's just the colour of your skin. Calm down.
To answer your question I can't really decide. I love all skin tones tbh but not all skin tones suit individual people. Tan skin looks good on people born with it. And pale skin looks good on people born with pale skin. I honestly couldn't really pick if I'm honest. It's all about the individual.
I have pale skin and am called Caucasian for I am white and part Asian too ! I can not tan for I burn and peel ! I like my man to have a natural tan and I believe John does so that is cool ! If you are light skinned and want a tan then try to get one from the sun but if it just peels then you can not have a tan from the sun ! Thanks

Red/Orange Hair - Pale
Black Hair - I'm fine with either

People always say that it looks unhealthy when you are pale. Sick.
That's because the current beauty trend goes towards being tanned.
You know what? These people are stupid.
Your natural skin color is pale, anything other than that is forced and BAD for your skin. Any tan showing on your skin already means that you have damaged it.
Staying pale means you are healthy!

In almost all cases pale skin looks better. The exception is when the pale skin is pale because it's unhealthy/sickly, usually involving drug use.
Remember, tanned skin is skin crying for mercy from UV rays- it's a good way to look older than you really are.
Whatever is the natural pigment of the skin, if you're naturally pale it makes you unique and beautiful in your own way, and something many other girls like me would wish they had, doesn't mean I don't like my slightly tanned skin.
Tanned skin is great as not only does it make us look healthier and suntanning also gives our bodies vitamin D which is essential for healthy, bones, a healthy brain, a healthy heart, also to treat vitamin D deficiencies and weight gain and also for hormone regulation.
Natural skin tones are sexy. If you are naturally pale, stay that way. If you are naturally tan, you're beautiful too. Fake tans or girls who sun tan and damage their skin are unattractive, same for guys.
I so get you! I'm really pale most of the time but feel I look healthier when I'm tanned as well! Just be sure to wear an spf of some soft when you do go out 😊
I'd say it depends on hair and eye color as well as how well someone naturally tans versus burns. Maybe just wear a moderate sunscreen such as spf 30 and enjoy some outside time this summer, regardless of whether you'll tan or not.
Darker skin looks more attractive, and I think this is a rather universal opinion, considering the number of people trying to get a suntan at countless beaches around the world.

Which ever is natural. It's only when people tan themselves to orange or leather, or bleach themselves to a pastel yellow, that it starts looking weird and unattractive.
I'm crazy pale and love it, I feel like it's easy to look sick when you are too pale, but I like it anyway. Don't let people make you feel like you need to change. 💕

I prefer lighter skin shades. What I call, porcelain skin (pale/fair) is very attractive to me. Especially when in contrast to darker hair. I have never found tan white women all that attractive
Tanned skin looks fine with black hair and/or dark facial features, but in every other scenario I prefer lighter skin.

Somewhere in the middle. Not ghostly pale, but also not so dark it doesn't look natural on that person. It also depends on the individual person, but I think most people look best with just a healthy amount of color to their skin.
Tanning leads to premature aging. So I don't find tans attractive.
So don't tan to look more attractive. If you must, use spray-on tan.
