Do guys really think long acrylic nails are ugly?

I've heard a lot that guys don't like long fake nails, but I don't get it because I've always gotten compliments. Below are the type of nails I'm talking about. What are your thoughts?

As my screen name implies, I love long nails on a woman, but NOT long plastic nails. When you say "acrylics", do you mean they cover your own natural nail, or they're just glued on plastic? Glued on plastic looks like shit at any length. Natural is the best, but too long is gaudy, even when they're natural.

Mostly cause they might get unconfortable, maybe not for you that may be used to them, but for ur boyfriend or a friend you interract with often. I've had small... accidents before, thank god not during sex.

Those nails are personally way too long that it starts to look scary and talon like.

Personally I wear nails about this long or shorter acrylics. I’ve got most compliments from guys at this length, if they’re too long I get comments like claws, witch nails or talons instead.

One day, my girlfriend came home after a girls’ night (actually it was a whole day and night) with these eagles’ nails! She was hiding her hands in her back and I remember the look on her face when she said: “Babe, what do you think of these? Please, be honest?” And she showed me her hands! Back in my mind, I was like: boy, this is a trap!

I asked her: do you like them? She said, not really. I asked, then why did you put them on your beautiful nails (she have the most beautiful, long and natural nails)? She said, everyone in my group did it and I wanted to try! I told her, i am fine if they make you happy (she knew it was a trap - I never say no when it’s something that makes her happy)!

There is this one lady that comes into a store I shop at often, and she has been growing her nails for about 10 years. They're longer than most women's hair. Nails long enough to scratch yourself are fine, but beyond that, what's the point? How does it look?

Every time I see a woman with super long nails a part of my subconscious shudders. Imagine running your fingers through a sack filled with moist luke warm ear wax that has hair and finger nail clippings interspersed within it. That is the mental sensation that wells up inside me when I see those revolting harpy claws stapled onto a woman's hands.

I absolutely love nail polish, but I hate fake long nails. in my opinion they are ugly as hell, the longer the uglier. Those long claws are gross (and no offense but long fake nails also look kinda slu*y) But hey go ahead if you like it.
