Oh my goodness, are you clueless! Too funny. This has been the style for a while now. Both women and men (more stylish men) do it. It makes the shirt hang down in a more interesting way, gives it more shape, instead of being a straight line. It also shows off a person's waist and shows that they have one. It's generally more flattering to a body. It's just a trend (which is now 'the norm'). I personally don't like pants of any kind that have belt loops, and then a belt is not worn. She's not trying to show that she doesn't need a belt. Got nothing to do with that. Maybe some girls don't wear belts because they can be uncomfortable, depending on the fabric, when you sit down. Maybe she thinks they're jeans so it should be casual.
That's nice, don't care, didn't read. You started off being rude, clueless for 46. Poor grammar, insulting, yup clueless.
And you're an influencer... at level 6? LOL What a joke. You're a ROOKIE n00b here.
I've been here since 2008. SIT DOWN.
No, you stay away from me. I was here first. Nice mouth you have there... hope it pleasures your tree hugging, Subaru driving, granola eating feminist one sided girlfriend. Lol loser.
This is MY thread. GTFO.
Nice one!
Meaning nice one Amanda.
@thetwiddler
please go troll elsewhere. Amanda was already dealt with. Thanks.
Tucking longer tops into the front of the jeans shows the waistline, which makes the wearer appear taller. I do this as I am short, and a lot of tops hang too low on me. Instead of paying to tailor them, i'll do like the girl in the photos, and tuck the front of the shirt in.
This shows my waistline, and my legs, making me look a tad bit taller from afar. Plus, it's nicer having a defined waistline, than to have it hidden by an overly large top!
Perhaps it’s just part of the whole look or appearance? It might be to accentuate or showcase the length, shape, or curves of her legs from the front-facing angle more, and it might also be her way of tucking in extra fabric so that it gives more of a fit look instead of the extra fabric hanging sloppily about.
That’s a fashion faux pas of mine too; some men do the same 🤮 If any part of a shirt or top is to be tucked, it should be done all around; if not, then it should be all untucked of course (but preferably not if it’s too big or wavy) 🤢
Plus, you hate skinny jeans too. lol

JUST MY OPINION! I feel like it is much more presentable (not sloppy) to just wear a shirt untucked then to tuck a few inches of the front in! Especially when you aren't wearing a belt and you're showing empty belt loops. I also feel like this started as a trend and like with all trends you either go along and they last or you don't and they die. With this trend I think it has now become a habit. I thought at first it was to show your belt (which I think is presentable) , but once I started seeing people do this without a belt I was confused. If I'm being honest I think it's stupid in the nicest way possible. When you buy a shirt you should like it for the look without wanting to tuck just the front in! It is a much cleaner luck to have the shirt completely untucked or completely tucked with a belt!
I don't do it but, it makes the stomach look flatter and hides any love handles or fat around the waist since the rest isn't tucked in. And it also covers the butt for those who are uncomfortable having it out on full display. It's also comfortable for a lot of movement because fabric coming in front of the crotch is hella annoying.
Usually done to die if the belt/belt buckle. I guess the style stuck even when the belt disappeared.
The fact that your first thought is that they are showing of their body and not the clothing gives me the feeling that you feel insecure about your own appearance. Don't! All women are beautiful!
Personally I do it when the shirt is too long. I'm pretty short so if it's too long I want to make sure my legs don't look short. I wouldn't tuck it like this for any of those shirts though. They don't look much longer than the tuck.
Exactly, so why is she tucking?
It may just be a style she likes. All of these shirts may not be long but they're big on her. She may want it to fit her curves more. Some shirts make you look more pear shaped depending on how they sit, so she may be angling for more of an hourglass look by tucking it in and making it look a lot less baggy.
I don't know. I never liked that look. I call it the bathroom tuck
As in accidentally left it tucked in after dropping pants to use the bathroom and pulling them back up and buttoning them over the top.
The French tuck is so that you see the girls waist. Otherwise you look square all the way down. If you notice none of these shirts are form fitting, even for a thin woman you would look wider if you don’t tuck the front.
I usually tuck in the front of my shirt/blouse when I don't want my outfit to look basic... I guess girls do this to show that they're interesting and not boring
There r two reasons.
1st I think i look good in this style.
2nd It shows my figure smhow.
3rd I look kinda slim.
(But in all these cases i usually use d tops larger than my size.)
Thanks Girl✌🏻
High five🙋🏻
The shirt is too long but you can’t tuck it in because it’ll bulk up your pants, because again, it’s too long. You just tuck in just a little.
What do you mean by bulk up your pants?
You can see the folds of your shirt through your pants because there’s too much fabric or it’s so long that the end of the shirt goes below the crotch of your pants and so the fabric gathers in that one spot around the perimeter of your hips creating a visible ridge all around your hips.
I could see leggings or thin material, but you'd even see it bunched up under her jeans?
I meant the folds of the shirt under the jeans*
Look, maybe so, but keep in mind, we have fake pockets to avoid the extra bulk. Pockets are considered too much. We just have different standards.
if it was me, it would be because I was too lazy to tuck in the back. A lot of my fashion choices are due to laziness
I have to show off my gucci "fake" belt buckle lol 🙈🙈
There's no belt
I live that. I usually do it to cover my little booty
The tuck? Or her shirt/jeans tuck style?
Both
I like it. I was wondering if there was any specific reason for it.
I said my reason is to cover my booty so i leave he back untuckef
It's just a style choice to make an outfit more interesting. Kind of like rolling up your sleeves or not buttoning the top button of a shirt.
It shows that she isn't overweight. If she had her shirt untucked she could have tubby belly but showing the front like that is a sure fire way to identify that she is in gr8 shape
Probably it’s trendy and fashionable 😂😅 just like anything else. Showing off lol
That's what I mean, showing off what? Her crotch? Jeans? That she's thin and her skinny jeans fit her?
Probably her body that she is thin? 🤷🏻♀️ I agree with you what are you saying 💯
i don't know if these are modeling pics, but it would be done to show a tucked/untucked version of the shirt
I asked girls and usually when they tuck in a shirt like that they wear a belt to make the outfit look more polished. So I chose “other” option because none made sense.
Showing off probably. High waisted Jean's are a trend because they supposedly make your legs look longer and you look thinner. So she might tuck her shirt to increase pant length
Just a style/preference, I think it looks good in these photos at least.
The shirt flares to much making it unflattering. Tuck it in you can see her figure better maybe?
I am seeing many valid reasons.
One reason I can think of is that she probably does not want to expose her belly and/or bellybutton every time she has to raise her arms for something.
My understanding the fad started during rodeo times, guys would tuck the shirt above the buckle so people would see the buckles won for rodeo tournaments. That is where the "buckle bunny" term came from.
To show off her groins lol... obviously they love it and wanna show their vagina
Practicality and aesthetic
Why would not needing a belt be something to show off?
Shows that they fit properly. Have you ever been shopping, much less for jeans? They're really hard to get to fit everywhere and still look good.
This question is kinda of... silly.
Almost like a bragging thing
Wouldn't needing a belt indicate you're slim if anything?
I guess it could, but her skinny jeans already do that.
I don't know why everyone seems to be doing that either.
I thought that y'all would tuck in your shirt all the way around
I don't do it.
Even an oldie like me knows this is the style and has been for a while. Personally I love it.
its because the outfit looks better with the shirt tucked in but some of us dont like it how it looks from the back so we only tuck the front
That's what I thought, but she was tucking for every shirt, regardless of length
there's no sense or reasoning behind female clothes. it's all about looks, not about function.
It's just a fad so that they look pulled together- yet casual.
Cause u look less ‘baggy’ when u lowkey tighten the shirt or something doing that
It just looks better and more stylish
I dont think it has anything to do with belts lol
It's to look slimmer and to look more put together. Same as rolling up your sleeves. It's a trend.
Seems like one of those stuck-up basic fashion-crazy forever 21 pumpkin spice latte freaks
She shouldn't have to , if she wore a proper blouse it wouldn't hang low enough😉
its a french tuck and usually used with oversized clothes to show off the clothes underneath of the figure
it's a "style" that's meant to show off the front of the pants.
Fashionable or we don't like how it hangs
I do that if my shirts are too baggy 🤷♀️
Just the front?
"She" does it with everything she wears though.
Yeah it’s just a style and a trend
Do you do it?
Its a trend, just like anything else.
Looks better. That's all.
It’s a style thing more than anything.
It’s just a style I think
It makes her legs look longer
It’s just to look stylish
It's things to show... And us to see.
It's the latest style. It's cute
It's just a way to wear the shirt...
So guys can look at her butt?
She tucks in the front... so they can look at her ass? 🤨
I suppose you've never accepted a challenge..
She's making a new fashion trend
Showing her crotch off...
It's the way many women love to show off.
I don't know but I like how it looks
It looks good and makes the outfit more stylish.
Supposed to be the new "in" thing to do, with them
That's, dumb. lol
Not to me, I think it's kind of cool
No, you asked it because you don't like it and are complaining, STFU
mmmkay little guy, McKay. go take a nap and drink your warm milk
I think its an invitation
Show off their vahhh Gina
Trendy?
some trend no doubt
It looks good
Eventually to show off
