Is it strange using a backpack instead of a purse?

Do you consider it strange to use backpacks instead of purses? (for women)

I'm not really a big fan of purses. I prefer backpacks. They're so much more comfortable to wear, use etc.

I know world is huge, we should do and wear whatever we want and I see many women with backpacks for work and such instead of purses but here where I live I don't see it often. (or maybe it's because I rarely go out? :O)

Yeah purses are more of a stereotype thing in my opinion as we've seen so much media with women and purses that its sort of a thing that we grow accustomed too but I think that you should go for it! Besides backpacks can come in different styles like purses and can be fashionable too if you look hard enough. Also its more versatile as if you went out hiking or something then it would look better rather than you hiking with a purse and in general backpacks have much more uses like normally having more storage or can be more comfy like you said. So yeah go for it!

"backpacks have much more uses" - Exactly this! This is why I wish to use backpacks instead of purses. I just prefer to be ready for anything and you never know whether you might need to buy something and it's always good to have extra place to put it in.

I own a purse and backpack, but I hardly ever use the purse.

I definitely prefer backpacks, but my personal preference would be something like the black one above. I don't like carrying around chunky ones because it will just make me look like a student lol. If you're not a student there's no point looking like one.

It does look quite large there but it doesn't seem that big when I pick it. It has a great space though and it's so cute. I feel like it would be a waste not to use it anymore.

nah, I hate purses. there jsut so bulky and put a lot of weight on your one shoulder. I use my backpack all the time as a purse. it is a nicer leather one, so it does look more like a purse rather than a backpack you would use for school. plus I feel like you can store a lot in a backpack.

I do have a leather one but it's too small for all the stuff I usually use and I often find myself in a need of more space (I do use backpack even for shopping groceries, it's a perfect store place lol) and the pink one offers it that's why I'd like to keep using it.

I know what you mean, the small backpacks only hold small items- I got a backpack from guess that is medium sized so I can fit my laptop and book in it but it still looks more stylish.

At least with backpack you can customize on how to carry it. For me personally, I usually like to wear my backpack, I wear one shouldered
