What are your thoughts on Ugg boots?

I am personly a big fan of Uggs. There are no boots warmer or comfier in my opinion and I know they get hate for being ugly but I don't think it is true, I think what gave them a bad image is people wearing ugly cheap copy boots and just woman wearing Uggs that a sized too big so it makes them look huge. If they are well kept and the right size I think they can be really cute with the right outfit.

So a few questions.
1. Do you think they can be cute?
2. Do you wear them?
3. What other thoughts do you have about them?
Again I love Uggs there is really nothing comfier I think the best thing is that Ugg recommends going without socks with them!

I like the ones you have posted, I actually have that exact pair. I also have them in grey but a bit taller with three bows up the back.
I like the Bailey bow style.
Not so much a big fan of some of their other styles, just not my style. The original style is a little plain for me but I don’t mind them.
My only complaint is they are like coach handbags, it seems like every ones got them. I like things that are a bit harder to find everywhere/on everyone.
I do find them to be warm, however, I have had other boots that are copy cat Ugg’s, like bear paw, and they were warm too. I will admit that I’ve not compared them exactly in the same sort of conditions. I wouldn’t wear my Ugg’s while I was outside shoveling snow or something like that. Usually if I’m wearing them it’s more like I’m dressy casual and going from my house to my car into wherever warm. So can’t really compare fairly.
I think they’re cute with jeans or leggings and a cute sweater, but I suppose I’m a little biased. Lol

I do quite like those styles but the problem is that they will have fur near the top but it never goes to your toes. So they are only as warm as normal boots. With Uggs your foot and leg is 100% surrounded in thick&soft fur so they are super warm and comfy. I've never worn them, but they look very effective (warm and dry) and comfortable, two things which are apparently anathema in women's fashion, which I'm starting to think it just an extremely long-running practical joke. They probably can be cute, but truth be told, I rarely pay much attention to a woman's shoes.

And maybe it's just that all the ones I've seen before have been knockoffs or something, but boots that lace in the back seem like they'd be a pain to put on and take off, unless you were sitting down.

I like the combination of boots and jeans, uggs specifically I don't have much of an opinion on unless they look ridiculous with lots of stupid frufru hanging off (same opinion I have towards most fashion in general).

Its not common knowlege but Uggs can actaully be worn in hotter temps. The sheepskin naturally regulates temp when its against bare skin (no socks) so they always keep you feet at your body temp whether its cold or hot out. They were orginally made for surfers to wear on the beach. Up until like 2010 here girls wore Uggs in summer all the time including me. Its really amazing your feet don't sweat at all in them.
