Do you agree that celebrities denying or not talking about their cosmetic procedures is harmful?

and is it wrong to compare before and after pics to point out their surgeries, or is it not our business to talk about their bodies?

Let me just say I don’t think there’s anything wrong with plastic surgery. I really don’t. But I think it’s wrong to lie about it when you have millions of young fans who look up to you.
celebrities create all these beauty standards, whether it’s big butts, plump lips, tiny noses, etc. And these standards have millions of young kids looking in a mirror saying “why don’t I look like that?”
And when you claim that it’s all natural and that it was done through make up or exercise, you’re creating a false beauty standard that the average person cannot attain.

even if a celebrity doesn’t have any work done, they still have the money for the best make up artists, hair stylist, dermatologist, they have private gyms in their homes with personal trainers. Regardless if it’s a procedure or not, it’s still a look that was achieved by having money.

and I don’t think it’s wrong to point out what procedures they may (or may not) have had done. Looking at a ‘before’ and seeing they looked like an average person before their fame is probably helping a lot of people get over their body image issues
Yes, celebrities need to be honest about the work they have had done. It creates false beauty standards if they don’t
No. Celebs do not need to tell us about their procedures because what they do with their bodies is none of our business

I’m gonna use my favorite celeb as an example, Ariana Grande. Ariana does not naturally look like that. And for a while I was a delusional stan and denied she had anything done. But now it’s obvious to me that her nose, her eye shape, her skin color, etc. is not natural. And to this day she sweeps comments about her appearance under the rug and said her nose is natural. She even turned her comments off when everyone was talking about how she got her eyes done and practically looks Asian now.
