Have you ever used Sun in?

Like hair lighter when you are using when your sunbathing, how well did it work.

Okay so while it can lighten your hair it greatly depends on how your hair will react to it and what the under tones of YOUR hair is for example me and 3 of my sisters all have used it while 2 of us had that very light blonde, I had very light platinum blonde but I also had some strawberry blonde highlights it didn’t look bad but it was definitely some red hue to it. My other sister who had brown hair but with a distinct red under tone ( she was a ginger as a kid) her hair was again ginger. For reference my 2 sisters who only had blonde are both naturally a light dirty blonde. I have a slightly darker dirty blonde. So yes as a whole it does work but it’s not going to give the same effect as bleaching your hair lol. I’ve also heard that just in general be careful on darker hair as it is pretty common for it to pull red … I don’t think to the extreme of my sisters but just something to think about. Side note if you already have lighter hair and. You find that when you use sun in the blonde is more brassy you can kinda tone it out a bit by washing your hair with purple shampoo! This way you don’t have to use actual toner or dye yk lol anyways that’s all just be careful bc it can pull red from your hair lol.

Yeah. Worked as expected but I have "baby fine" hair so that may be a factor.
