Am I weird for being a lesbian who doesn't like tattoos?

Like compare these two... no tattoos wins it by a landslide for me.

It seems to almost be a requirement for being lesbian these days, but I personally could just never get into tattoos. I don't know why, but to me they never enhanced a woman's appearance, and I just like clear bare skin so much more. Clear skin is just so much easier on the eyes in my opinion.

It's gotten to the point where clear bare skin is a massive turn on to me just because of how rare it is. If I got get me a woman with clear legs/thighs like that Natalie Portman pic... oh the things I'd do to her.

However, I'd like to point out I wouldn't reject an otherwise good woman over tattoos. I'd just prefer her to not have any if I could choose.

Well, I don't know whether that's NORMAL, since I'm not, y'know, telepathic, but I'd imagine it is- a lot of the stereotypical lesbian things seem either to be tied into counterculture, or just divesting yourself of anything stereotypically feminine (which seems to be kind of working against the whole "attracted to women" thing). Tattoos being a traditionally masculine thing, it's not hard to see where the connection would come from.

I'm not really a big fan of tattoos on women, either, so you can take comfort in the fact that a random internet weirdo agrees with you, at least.

It's just a stereotype that doesn't apply to individuals, so don't overthink it. Tattoos are very easy to get, impossible to completely remove, and often socially stigmatize you, so you are doing the right thing.
Just don't give up on another b/c of the tattoos; maybe they are as unhappy with it as you. I know if I could go back to clean skin for my arms, I would in a second.

I am bi and I do not understand American and European lesbians. In a lesbian relationship, why does one of them have to be in a masculine role, that you call a "butch"? These masculine lesbians get tattooed and usually have short hair like a man, and wear outdated mens clothing from decades ago. It is like they try to remove all femininity from themselves. In Asian countries, we generally do not do this.

I've got lesbian colleagues with tattoos and lesbian colleagues without tattoos. I can say the same for gay male colleagues, and straight colleagues of both sexes.

I'm a straight female and I don't like them either.

This is the first time i am hearing about that lesbians need to have a tattoo. This is irrelevant and ridiculous. You are not weird. The women shouldn't judge you because you don't have a tattoo. If they don't respect you, they should better be on their way.
