You would be surprised what some makeup, hair styling, and clothes can do to a girl's looks.

No, not at all. Celebrities can barely pull that off, even though a lot of people believe celebrities are "good looking;" I'm rarely ever fooled. I can tell what people look like without the makeup, angles, and lighting.

That's why all the loser simps on here get mad at me when I say I don't think Adriana Lima is attractive. Cause I can tell what she looks like without makeup and she's not even attractive in makeup, to me. At least Miranda Kerr used to be able to pull that off before all the hideous cosmetic surgery botches and filler she put in her face.

If someone is a 3 or 4 in looks, all stuff like this Portland Pinups photography, is doing, is lying to people and, as they used to say, "trying to put lipstick on a pig." That said, I don't think the second, fourth, or sixth ladies look all that bad, even in their "before" pics. They're not "attractive," no; they're 5s. But I think the pin-up pics only make them look worse. Not to mention, fake as f*ck.

With all this said though, I don't care much about looks. I'll date "unattractive looking" girls who have killer personalities and kick-ass where it counts. And I have before. (Not to mention, I'm ugly myself. A 3 to women, and a 6 in my own opinion.)

However, I won't lie and claim a girl who's a 5 is "suddenly an 8 or 9 in looks due to her personality." No, I don't do that. I'm just saying, personality matters way more to me, but it doesn't change the fact that a girl who's a 5 in my opinion, still looks like a 5, even if her personality is a 9. If that makes sense to you.

From birth, males are socially 'imprinted' as to what they view as 'attractive'. Child psychologists have conducted studies where non-verbal infants are shown photos of unrelated females and their responses are studied. There DOES exist a nascent concept of 'beauty'.

Cosmetic 'glamoury' and couture accentuates and or 'minimizes' natural attributes reinforcing observed societal approval. Hence the STRONG societal prohibition of 'tarting-up' pre-teen children in 'adult' provocative cosmetics and attire, despite children's desire both for having influence and parroting mature mannerisms in emulation of whom they observe as being 'empowered' as influential.

There DOES exist those who possess natural symmetry as 'pretty' > even subjectively beautiful SANS glamoury nevertheless... WITHOUT corresponding self-confidence, she is just reproductive 'bait'.

I think there is no black-and-white answer for this becuase everyone has their own take on what hot is. Reading through these comments, most men are saying this particular look (after photos) is deceiving, so less make-up and personality are hotter based on the provided photos.

But, the whole How Do I Look? posts. I've seen the most naturally beautiful creatures ever (model-like) girls post their photos and men rating them as a 6 or 7 - it's confusing.

In short, I think the answer to your question is yes.

If we are just going by looks. Any person can enhance their hotness with make-up and clothing but never to everyone's expectations.

I love myself and feel fine with my face but am well aware I don't fit into what is considered hot or beautiful by today's standards - I have thin lips, thin eyebrows, short lashes and redhair.

I worked as a videographer for a few years, and I worked with lots of up and coming actors and models. I also saw what they looked like rolling up in the morning, and while there were a few natural beauties, there were a LOT of average-at-best people who were transformed by Hair & Makeup. To the degree that it was hard to believe it was the same person.

I absolutely love plain Janes. Natural beauty. I hate discovering what's under the makeup. Yeah, I think so, but I already see the beauty in the plain (as cheesy as that sounds lol). People who love make-up, they can do so because they enjoy doing it, but they shouldn't do it for other people, at least in my opinion.

Everyone has the capacity to look their best if they know what kind of colors, patterns and structures bring out their features and complexion. On top of that most people already look great if they take care of their appearance, groom themselves and they have an air of confidence around them.

I think most guys know that average looking women are far more attractive to men. Why, because average looking women are far more willing to make themselves available to the average guy.

But all these women with make overs and real life looks... well I think most men are turned off by the extreme make up types. Because we are not fooled by the glitz and glamor, and when they portray themselves like that, we take it as being high maintenance.

Yes I do. Unfortunately modern women have been programmed to reject femininity. Masculinity isn't a good look for most women. Even ordinary looking women can transform their appearance with a little effort.

All BS aside - it's a turn on when I learn of a 'plain jane' being kinky/naughty. Most of the time less is more with respect to make-up and all that jazz. Also, I should mention that once a woman crosses over to the Blacked side they're overall confidence (in bed at least) definitely increases as well as their libido and craving for size.

I think it has to do with a woman’s style preference and personality that makes them “attractive”. If you don’t know who you are or have found yourself and your true style then you won’t necessarily shine. That’s my perspective on that. “Plain looking” does not exist.
