Is it worth saving for cosmetic surgery?

I'm currently working hard saving for a mole removal from my nose. I went to the NHS for advice and they told me I'd need to go private and have a actual surgeon do the job for me because of were the mole is. I got a quote and was told it would be at least £1000.

I've just bought a house with my boyfriend and I can't really justify splashing out £1,000 for someone cosmetic.

It's something I've been really self conscious of for years and others have told me I should get it removed too. It hurts so much sometimes when people make comments. Some people say they didn't even notice but it's also blocking my view and it bleeds a lot because it gets caught of stuff.

I've currently saved £200 so far and I'm also considering saving for a boob job too which when I looked was around £8,000

Yes it’s worth it you only have one body you shouldn’t feel bad about spending money on it. I have my nose done I do love my nose job but I’m tempted to get boobs too because before I had kids they were big and perfect now they are medium and just nice, I miss them.

I am not sure how healthcare is paid for in the UK but you should push that you are afraid that the mole is pre cancerous and you want it removed for health reasons. Even if you have to pay for it you should have it removed. IIt is getting cut open often and is uncomfortable. You do not need s boob job.

Basically we have the NHS which is pretty much free health care but it's only free if it's actually something serious even if some people cheat the system and get a boob job done on the NHS 🙄.

If it's anything the NHS can't do we have private healthcare which is pretty much the same as what you guys get.

I tried to go through the NHS and they did a cancer check and it was a clear so the told me they wouldn't remove it for me and to go to a private surgeon

damn, it still needs to be addressed. My father had a mole on his neck and hr was always cutting it while shaving. He finally got it removed and he said ha should have done it a long time ago.

No as cosmetic surgery firstly may not be good outcome. Secondly, no guy with a pound of sincerity wants a plastic woman. Plastics are easy to discard in the trash... they can be recycled. SAVE your money for a house down payment. Concrete foundations and income generation has value for generations.

Removing a mole hardly seems like cosmetic surgery too me. Maybe you should set a few consultation appointments with different dermatologists and general surgeons to get more info.

I went to a dermatologist and they told me to go to a surgeon because my mole is too close to my eye and it's too much of a risk for them to do themselves

My mother had one removed from her bottom eyelid by a dermatologist. I suggest talking to at least 3.

The dermatologist was a NHS specialist if she says I need to see a surgeon I'm taking her word for it

I reckon you should ask the Men in your life like your Boyfriend or your Dad wether they think it's worth if they think it is then go for it, But if they don't or they don't really want to talk about it or whatever your better off not getting it.

Getting it for yourself when other people around you think its not a good idea is selfish and just creating arguments for no reason.

how is it that expensive? i had a few moles removed and it was only like 250 bucks. honestly it's not really that worth it. you don't feel much different after.
