Would it be cultural appropriation if I, a Korean person, wore Tanzanian jewelry?

Anonymous

I travel around the world often, and I enjoy learning about and even experiencing other cultures. A few months ago, I visited Tanzania and stayed with the Maasai tribe for 24 hours, and I was gifted a handmade bracelet and, of course, I cherish it very much. I was going to wear it out, but my sister told me not to because it's cultural appropriation and that it wouldn't make sense for an Asian to be wearing African jewelry.

Yes, that's cultural appropriation.
No, that's not cultural appropriation.
