I don't know that they necessarily care that it's an ethnic dress as much as they care that it's a DRESS, that it is beautiful, and that it's relatively conservative in style.
Too many women today don't wear dresses except to the club, and when they do, it's a hyper-sexualized dress that barely covers more than a bikini. That will get a girl lots of SEXUAL attraction, sure, but it won't get her RELATIONSHIP attention. A traditional dress probably will get her relationship attention.
To give you a little perspective on this as someone who LOVES wearing dresses: my entire wardrobe consisted of dresses and skirts and traditional South Asian attire: kurti, salwar kameez, saree etc. As much as I still love wearing them, skirts are no longer compatible with my lifestyle now that I've moved halfway across the globe and way up North. I live in one of the windiest parts of the world let alone Canada and I'm a busy college student running around all day. Skirts hardly give any warmth as well unless I wear tights/leggings underneath and in that case I can just wear the pants alone. Even with pants as much as I love the good stuff, a lot of the practical work in my degree involves field trips: I'm going in puddles, bushes, streams, mud... I wear more pants now out of necessity. Athletic clothes aren't my "style" but that's the only practical option for field trips. Oh and not to mention affordability, most well-made dresses are ridiculously expensive. The few treasures I managed to own all happen to be thrifted.
What I wear on a daily basis is more suited to my lifestyle than my fashion sense.
It's not even the snowy tundra that's the issue. A lot of lifestyle factors are. The point I'm making here is that as nice as dresses are, they are not suitable for everyone.
@CubsterShura Again, that's totally understandable (I was trying to be a bit humorous there). The point is simply that most men really like it when women wear feminine but relatively conservative styles - as opposed to either wearing mannish, shapeless or androgynous clothes OR wearing clothes that put their entire body on display.
We are commonly attracted to that which we DONT see and in the world today women’s clothing is just about exposing as much skin as you can get away with in the Dullest colors possible. Traditional clothing usually is colorful and conceals more so it’s not something you see often and therefore is more alluring as it stands out.
Ethnic dresses are just more interesting and beautiful, so obviously they will be more eye-catching when you're in the middle of everyone else dressed in simpler and plainer clothing. Even if you look at various ethnic European clothing even those are so much more interesting and detailed than what's considered more "Western".
Absolutely. They also like Disney Princess dresses. I wore a cinderella dress as part of a charity event at our church, my husband f*cked me in it in the church hall celler. Sure it only took him two minutes but jeez, these guys.
Very understandable, haa!!

yes in a couple days is Chinese traditional festival.
Yep, Mid-Autumn Festival is a big day here.
Girl, you’d look stunning in a wet paper bag.
Thank you so much, Andres ^^
A dress presents an alluring mystery, and that is quite enticing/arousing!
Yes, I do, I will buy hundreds of ethnic Indian dresses and sarees for her. I want to see how will she react? How does she look in traditional Indian dresses and sarees? Does it make her feel happy 😊? I know girls/ women love shopping, wearing new outfit, makeup and jewelry more than men.
It's because it's different to what they normally see and men are attracted to things that stand out. It's the same reason they get a boner seeing girls in uniforms.
Yeah men like seeing women in traditional dresses. Your co workers might have never seen you with that dress before and it makes you look unique in their eyes so they were amazed seeing you astonishing
Traditional dress for women are the best.
So for me yesss and some men may not like tho but maximum of them likes to see their woman in traditional dress
Should have posted a pic our jaes are waiting to drop 🙃🥳.
I don't mind it as long as it's a special occasion like a wedding fancy date or something like that
Its not what you wear but who is wearing it more if that makes sense.
Yes, I like it when people put in the effort to dress up.
I like watching old moves, even the bums wore a suit, tie and hat.
My husband says: "Sure! Why not?"
Immediately followed by: "Any chance you can have it hemmed shorter?"
I guess so, just like apparently some guys have liked me in a dirndl.
Absolutely
I am always impressed by a woman in a dress. Traditional or sexy. 😍
I always love seeing women in traditional dresses. My favorite is Russian and Ukrainian peasant dresses they are similar to Pakistani dresses but extremely nice
Traditional dresses are feminine. Men will always, ALWAYS, find feminine women attractive
Fully agreed!
Nowadays most women don't wear dresses often, it's really amazing to find women looking so pretty and feminine in dresses.
