Have you ever had colored contacts?

Another conversation got me curious. I wear contacts myself and only got colored once because when I got a year supply they were giving 2 or three pairs free of color. I must be boring because when asked what color I wanted i choose the brown closest to my actual eye color lol. Just curious who has used color ones that were different than their actual color.

If I ever need contacts, I think I’d get some that turn my eyes more green. It’s tough to think about though, because that’s kinda like false advertising 🤣 What if people constantly tell me how beautiful my eyes are? I would actually feel bad because that isn’t their actual color. Sure, I could say they’re colored contacts but that would also make me feel weird. I think I rattled on long enough. 🙂

Lol you are fine we all do it. Kinda why I choose my own color instead of changing it though the one lady tried to convince to try something different

@RMSTitanic Thank you! Overall I’m happy with them, I just wonder how I’d look with a solid color. Either blue or green. If that makes sense. They’re bluish green? Or greenish blue? I get confused how you would describe them. They’re more blue than green but they’re definitely is a greenish tint.

@RMSTitanic wow! That must be a unique look. My moms are green as grass and I always loved her eyes, my dads are blue with almost white in them and I always loved his eyes, so I just wished I could have gotten one of those colors and not a combination. Lol

I liked them but after some point I got tired of them. They looked nice with the style I had and not out of place

Definitely had to be unique that isn't a normal eye color. I think if I ever did try a different color I probably go with a natural color so people who didn't know me didn't know I had color contacts

Oh I didn't want people to get confused, I didn't want natural eye color lenses in order to for people to think that was my natural color. I wanted something unique that I thought looked cool to me while paired with a couple of outfits I had.

No it makes sense, I don't think I'd want to do it to deceive people. I guess I just like more natural looking colors for eyes and hair. Not judging those who do color their hair or put in unique eye contacts. I just don't think I would

What color are your eyes? And I used to want to try green or hazel but im not brave enough to insert contacts. Plus someone said the colored ones were bad for the eyes/sight

My eyes are dark brown, like I said when I got the free pair I picked the brown ones, they were a little lighter than my actual eye color. I asked people close to me if they could tell. They said if I didn't point it out they would never have noticed

Yea i have dark brown too. I always considered them pretty plain but my dude was the first guy to constantly compliment them. Shocked me. But maybe you have pretty long lashes that compliment yours

I don't know guys don't get compliments much probably why I remember the few times I did get them. That was years ago

I don’t wear contacts but if I ever have to wear them, I probably wouldn’t get colored ones. I like my eye color, I just don’t like the shape of my eyes. Unfortunately, there’s not much I can do about that. 😔

yeah... my natural eye colour is also brown and I get blue/green lenses usually.

@DizzyDesii no and I certainly do not recommend it. It looks like that because my eye colour is not a very dark shade of brown. Darker your natural colour is harder it gets to hide the underlying colour. Also, stay away from freshlook lenses🤣🤣

I tried blue-grey colored contacts in highschool once. Would love to try them again especially the enlarging contacts.
