  Sure, having her think about you helps. But what motivates a woman to think about a man? Mystery, tension, and incomplete threads... like hearing a story and waiting for the final chapter to be told. Basically creating tension in her emotionally so that she's FEELING about you after hanging out with you.. which leads to her wondering about you.
