To be honest, it's not such a bad thing. I initiate contact with the man I've been seeing for a few weeks, now. And, he seemed to prefer it. I feel like it's one of the best kind of relationships that I've been in. :P

It's not taboo at all. Who's keeping a tally? If you want somebody you don't have to wear a sign saying go to my room. Initiate a conversation. Most guys are smart enough to see your interested and they'll talk back. If the interests mutual it'll be just like a first date. What's so hard about that? You can talk to strangers can't you?
