I think its the very key for non-couples, especially for boys.

No pointing fingers here but as everyone knows girls are complex. And as I experienced not too long ago, this girl started ignoring me. So instead of asking her whats the deal, I just mirrored her behavior. I was showing her body language and verbally that I could live a cool and fun life without her as well. Of course she came back a few times but stupid me acted like a brick wall.

So whats the moral of the story? Ask her. If she ignores you, tell her for what reason,and that your open for her. Tell her you taught you both had a lovely thing going on, and that you liked her.

Cause what will you win if you choose to be not honest?

You will fake emotions, you'll need a "double" persona. And trust me girl, smell it. If you think she's wrong, tell her. If you feel played, tell her.

What can the person do? The worst case is that she will shout you and create a scene for herself. Show her you're in control, but of course admit your own mistakes as well. But don't be a doormat, challenge her.

Also if she's seeing other guys, don't act jealous and needy. It will show her how desperate you are and how much she has you in control. As I told you in my example: I didn't flinch, I showed her a good time when she was with me. When she left me I showed her I could even have more fun without her.

And to end the "friendzone" bullshit for once and for all: there is none. If you act like a "I'm-a-sexually-passive guy, and you're my goddess," and just threat her like a friend, what do you expect? Her to take you by the neck and kiss you? Of course not! Show her you're HERE FOR HER. I WANT YOU. You'll be lying and crying every time you talk to her this "friend-way."

Again being honest, tell her everything, especially for high-schoolers. Time is short don't waste it.

Agreed! be honest with us, as a girl i would like nothing better than a guy to be honest with me (but not overly aggresive like some guys i've came across, they take no for an answer when i'm not interested), but all in all i appricate the honesty. its true girls especcialy in their teens want bad boys. In fact one girl told me: girls want someone who is a rebel towards the world but who is kind and sweet for the girl he loves.
I tested it and it was true, i was that "nice guy" type. But i just tried it for the sake of doing it, and ended getting the hottest girl turned around my finger. Cause i was honest (nice guys would lie about certain things), had a life ambition, was funny, didn't care about anything except for her in the class. I've noticed it's like... guys want less attention girls want more. I notice for me if I'm overly attentive with a guy early on it seems like it's a turn off for him... but for me if a guy ignores me too much early on I think he's not interested and I lose interest.

We have a tendancy to do what we want them to do but really a lot of the time guys and girls want very different things.. I think its important to learn each others subtext early on and do what you can to make the other person happy, if you're genuinely interested

I agree. Honesty is something we all need to work on with each other. As long as you don't confuse it with speaking without consideration. Be honest with her, and if whatever you're saying makes her uncomfortable, give her time to take it in.

Every time I let someone read my manuscript and offer advice, I read it once, then let it sink in and wait for the initial defensiveness to pass. After a while, I can go back, read it again, and properly take it into consideration. I think honesty works the same way on people too.

I do agree with you about the "honest" part but i disagree of you saying "girls" are challenging since every individual is different, sure they might be similar but in the end there will a hint/small difference
"Honesty" is always important factor in any relationship either be a family, friends, lover/s et, plus every relationship/connection is different compared to others so they will work in different ways.
