Guys: If a girl offered you her jacket, and you were genuinely cold, would you accept it?

It seems to be a commonly accepted gentlemanly gesture for a guy to give a girl his jacket if she's freezing, especially if he's interested in her but you never really her about the reverse happening.

I mean, obviously if the girl's wearing a pink floral jacket, you probably aren't going to accept that. But if it were well below freezing, she had a gender-neutral sweatshirt, you forgot your jacket and she's offering, would you accept it?

It wouldn't do me any good anyway. I would be better off just hugging her for body heat, because I'm so wide at the shoulders the best her coat would do is serve as a shawl.

But assuming it would be functional, I'd decline it for reason C. Girls are weak and need to be kept warm. :P

No, not at all. I don't expect a man to be able to deal with the cold anymore than I can. Especially if you aren't typically accustomed to extreme cold, in that case, not offering you my jacket/sweatshirt would be selfish. And even if you are (accustomed to extreme cold) I see it as an act of common courtesy that shouldn't only be expected of males.

I think the simple fact that the man could fit into her jacket would be disturbing in itself.

I saw a freezing guy being offered a jacket by a girl once. He didn't accept because he knew he would be laughed at. Think I was the only guy in the immediate vicinity.

I don't normally laugh at people, but would have, if he had accepted. It is just something that is inherently funny, at least to men. It cannot be helped.

No. A) because I don't think that's gentlemanly, since she'll become colder, and B) I would absolutely destroy the average girl's jacket. I would rip a Men's large, and even some XLs depending on the cut.

Yes of course... its cold yaar.. apart from. jokes I'll usually not take that on me.. coz she will show a gratitude of love but she will b feeling cold as she is a girl she can't bear a pain eaisly but a guy can..

If I'm cold that's on me. I'm not going to take another ladies jacket for my own convenience even if she offers it. Just doesn't feel right.
