Why won't he ask me out again if he's still interested?

Question

We went out on a date a little while ago and it went just okay, not amazing, but... After that he hasn't asked me out again. I know he still likes me. We still flirt like crazy. He smiles when he's around me a lot, and laughs at all my jokes and I just tell by his body-language, even when we're in a small group he's always facing me. Never ignores me, always helps me out with anything if asked, we have many interests in common. We're definitely attracted to each other because he compliments me. I just know he likes me, so...why won't he just ask me out again? It doesn't even have to be a fancy, overly-romantic big deal; we can just go for coffee or watch a movie at my house. I don't care. Do you guys have any ideas? This is really frustrating me because I can't stop thinking about him and it sucks we can't hang out; I only see him once or twice a week.

Well girlie, it's hard to say.  Could be that he's a player or that he has interest in other girls too and doesn't want to commit.  I have no idea; I don't either of you (obviously).  I'm just saying that if I were flirting with a girl and went out on a date and felt attracted to her AND I only had interest in here, I would be going further with making more of a commitment or dedication or anything. Did you say or imply anything that might have put him off?

There is a girl I like but after I found out she had a boyfriend and such I never asked her out again.

Still like her allot but she's just utterly shot my confidence in "us".

Why don't you ask him out?

If the interest is clearly established you could give it a go, suggest you guys do something.

As you said, it sounds like he is still interested. I think since he asked you out the first time you should go ahead and ask him if he wants to hang out the second time. Ask HIM if he wants to go out for coffee or catch a movie. From the looks of things, I doubt if he says no. Some people don't want to seem TOO eager, and maybe asking you out again so soon may make him feel this way.

It sounds like he really likes you. What you need to do is take the bull by the horns and become a little bit more agressive. A little not a lot. Ask him out to a movie or dinner at your place. Girls don't have to wait to for the guy to make the first move, well, in this case, second move anymore.. Get what's ur's..

Not sure why he hasn't asked you out again. Maybe, he thinks you did not have a good time? Maybe, if you haven't already, let him know you enjoyed your date and ask him when are y'all going to do it again.
