What do you think when a guy/girl stares blankly at you?

So... I tend to stare blankly at attractive people when I'm at class or at the library and I don't even notice.

This girl today told her friend that I was staring at her and they started laughing... and glanced my way sometimes. And I just want to know if I seemed creepy (probable)

Do you look at the person that's staring at you if you think he/she is creepy? I'm asking because if I catch someone staring and I don't like them, I never look at them again. So, what are your thoughts?

When I see girls staring at me blankly my anxiety kicks and I start thinking that they probably think I'm ugly or something... But i mostly give girls that i find attractive blank stares.

A blank stare usually means only their eyes are towards you but they are not really watching / seeing.

Some times the person is day dreaming.

If I notice someone staring sometimes I smile and say , "hi"

Yeah, I know. But even when I'm daydreaming I still stare at the attractive girl. It's like a magnet for my eyes. haha.
