Guys, What does it mean if a guy calls you by your full first name?

This guy friend of mine always looks at me and says, "Samantha." And begins talking to me. Or he will randomly use my full name when speaking to me. And it's not like he's trying to get my attention, because I am already looking at him. We are close and enjoy spending time together.

Some people have the habit of nearly always prefacing what they say by saying your full first name. I think Asians, particularly, since they do that in their culture frequently.

Yeah, he doesn't ever look people in the eye or address their name. but locks eyes with mine and says my name.
