Today I saw the most beautiful girl I've ever seen in my life. Why didn't I talk to her?

I didn't talk to her. Our eyes briefly met and she smiled at me. Eventually she got off the buss and I missed my oppurtunity.

What I learned today is that I would've rather asked her out and get brutally rejected than not talk to her and never find out if I had a chance.

Now I'm sitting here feeling dissapointed at myself for not having the courage to talk to a random girl. And I'm wondering why I'm single...

I'm writing this so that anyone who finds himself in my situation will not do the same mistake that I did. Some of you may be antisocial and some may just lack the courage. But trust me, it's 100 times better to talk to a girl you're interested in and get rejected than not talking at all and never knowing the answer.

Do not think that she is out of your league. There is no such thing.

I just needed to get this off my chest. Already feeling better.

Well you've kinda answered your own question there. If you don't even attempt yo talk to the women that you like. You will probably remain single and Bingo! I wish all guys in your scenario would realise that. Some of them are overruled by fear of rejection or are just to naive to know that at leat if they try, they'll know better where they stand. But the good news is, that this was only your first encounter of this random girl. You might see her again, never say never. ;) If you don't see her again, then I'm sure you'll come across more women that your attracted to. Chances are what you make them. Good luck :D x

Sorry mate, it's probably because I was giving you the evil eye as you pined over my girlfriend aka the most beautiful girl in the world 😎.

But srs, glad you learned from your mistake bro, it happens. It sucks to ponder over what could've been for the next hours or few days or so.

But maybe you'll get another chance with her, or some other girl equally as beautiful and you'll have that courage you speak of to go over and screw that stupid irrational fear of rejection.

There are many reasons why you did not talk with her and you can keep blaming yourself or learn for the next time.
I had this problem not with a stranger but with my friend that I have a crush on. I wanted to tell her that I like her. I saw the perfect opportunity and I froze and panicked. I saw 4p3 and did the same thing. So I took the easy road out I wrote her a nice note. Now I wish that I had talked to her because I most likely won't know if she want to be more than friends until I ask her out.
