When my crush offered his hand to me when we were ice skating, I interlocked our fingers as we skated together. What do you think his impression was?

It's not like I was having too much trouble skating, but my crush (who knows I like him) came up to me to offer his hand and lead me out towards the main part of the rink to skate. I declined the first time or two, but I finally accepted it and I instinctually interlocked our fingers as we held hands because I was about to fall but he helped balance me. We skated holding hands like that around the rink a few times. I gripped his hand kinda firmly because I was afraid to lose my balance with him, and he just gently rested his fingers on my hand and comforted me, saying things like "It's alright. You got this." or "Just believe in yourself."

Do do you think I weirded him out by holding his hand like that? Or do you think he accepted it? Why would he offer to hold hands if he knows I like him (but he had told me a few months ago he wanted to be single)?
