I keep seeing/hearing my crush’s name everywhere?

For the past couple weeks now I’ve been hearing my crush’s name everywhere, at work when customers come in, I’ve heard of two guys who share the same name as him. We recently brought in a new IT guy who also has that name. Even on TV in advertisements I see that name in print. I haven’t been really thinking of him much cause I’ve been so preoccupied with work lately until stuff like this started to happen. Anyone else been through the same thing?

At one point even my mom noticed that she was hearing that name quite often too

What is his name (if you don't mind telling me) ? I mean it's normal to have auditory hallucinations when you're about to fall asleep.

His name is Alex, these events don’t happen when I’m about to sleep, they happen during the day
