I friendzoned him and now he hates me... not only him?

Hello, I met this guy on a summer camp (let's call him Damian). We study in the same highschool, he's in the same grade as me but in a different class. We were in the same group of friends in that camp and we got really close. One day I felt very sick and he skiped the billiard game just to stay with me outside until I felt better. Another day we went to the beach and he started to tease me in the water. After 5 days, his bff (who was also in that camp, let's call him Marian) asked me in a text message if I like Damian. I didn't answer that (even though I don't have a crush on him) because I thought the question was not serious and I wanted to see what happenes next. After that, Damian started avoiding me and Marcus became very flirty. After the camp ended, me and Damian talked rearly but me and Marcus talked daily. After a month, both of them blocked me on Whatsapp with any reason.
I started school and I received 2 text messages on instagram: one from an ex mate, another from Damian and they asked me a random question. I saw them starring at me in the yard or on the halls or even from the classroom. Me and my ex mate were friends and now he seems very annoyed because of me. Damian... I don't know, he acts very strange.
Any tips and ideas of what is happening?
