Why won't she stop texting me??

I asked her to stop politely, I've asked her rude(ish)ly [due to her flipping out on me] yet she still keeps at it. We fight and fight on the phone over stupid crap and she won't stop liking me... she seems obsessed and I don't like her. Should I tell her that I like a different girl and not her (once more and its the truth) or what? Because I've tried stopping replying to her and she still keeps texting me and she stares at me anytime she sees me but she has never talked to me much (she even tried getting out of conversations when I did like her and I actually did willing converse freely with her) and I don't really care, I just don't get why she's a chatter box with texts but can't speak at all...

I don't really care for her as a person though either, seeing as how she has insulted me AND my family, I don't really talk to her except by text but I NEVER text her first. and I'm not really her friend nor do I know her well

Ive tried not responding to her for 6 months straight and yet the staring and messages kept being sent my way

I'm a lot like her. There's nothing you can do but block her. I've actually asked "him" to block me so I really don't think he's getting my messages, he never replies. I write him through Facebook texting actually and I had turned the feature off but his messages from backlp when he did answer are still on my phone. So I write him. I told him it's more like a diary for me. I don't believe I'm truly obsessed with him. I think I use "loving" him as an excuse to not let anyone else into my.life because deep down, I know I'm not ready for a relationship. I need to get my life on track and this little fantasy is just a good distraction from other men for me. When I really think about it and our time together he was just aweful to me, put me down every chance he got and I was so head over heals. He never deserved a person like me in the first place. So if he's to stupid to download a call blocker then he deserves to.be haunted! Buaahahaha! I'm sorry you have to deal with her staring. I never see him plus I'm half blind and can't see.four feet away from my.face even with glasses. Its rude to stare. I'd probably flip him off or say hi but no, not stare.

Just don't answer any of her messages. It may not keep her from texting you, but if you keep this up for a while, she will get bored and move on. Do not respond at ALL, even to tell her how annoyed you are, what your plan is, or if she sends you something saying, "Fine, I'll stop texting, can't you at least say goodbye?" No, no you can't.

Also, as another user said, you can call the phone company and get her blocked, but I'd try the no-response method for 1-2 weeks first.

As per your recent update, this is harassment and the easiest way to stop it is to get the phone company to block her for you. I know I can do it online (I have Verizon).

That is unless you would like to press charges of some sort.

since you have told her numerous times to quit you have the right to report her as her actions are considered harrassment and stalking, if that is not the course of action you want to take then you need to change your number and make sure you let your friends know not to give her your new number.

And you said that ignoring her texts doesn't work at all? Hmm...just maybe talk to her in person and tell her that your phone plan has changed so that now you're charged 25 cents per text sent.
