Crush on my dance teachers son?

I’ve been taking dance classes since I was 11, I am now 19. Growing up, our dance teachers son kind of showed up randomly to the studio because his mother needed him to help her with recording and sorting things out (as she runs the studio)

When I was younger, I never paid too much attention to him because he was a couple of years older than me. All the girls had crushes on him. I sort of joked around with him but always paid more attention to the boys at school.

-boring backstory over, TO THE POINT!-

I take adult classes now, and over the last few months I’ve been getting to know him. He’s at his last year of uni, and upon getting to know him I see why the other girls crushed on him when we were young.

So, my question is should I go for it now? We’re both adults obviously but I don’t know how it will affect my relationship with my teacher, especially if something goes wrong. Help!

Don't have regrets, it'll haunt you with what-if scenarios. Just ask him, if he says yes, then just go from there and enjoy yourself. If he says no at least rejection is instantaneous, and you can move on.

Go for it! I understand the fear if something goes wrong, it's very reasonable. Maybe when you date raise the concern to him so you two can take it extra slow?
