I was completely ignored at a frat party?

Ok so im a freshman girl. Its been like 3 weeks since i started uni and i couldn't meet anyone so i found out about parties that are happening nearby. I went to one last night alone and i dont know ANYONE there. They let me in tho lol. everyone was drinking and dancing and making out/ grinding and i was just standing there with a beer in my hand pretending to drink (i dont drink lol). I was just slightly swaying to the music, hoping that some cute guy would try to talk to me. For the whole 2 hours no one talked to me/touched me at all, except this one guy who approached me and asked for my name , introduced himself and asked me if i was in a sorority or if i went to the post game (?) i said no to both and he said then how did u get here? i said ik smeone here (watevs lol) and he was like ok and left. So I don't know if he was actually interested or just suspicious of me. Im not saying that everyone was making out but it really hurt that i got zero attention. i dont know what i was doing so wrong. maybe im ugly and dont realize it?
