What's a quick way to get a retail girls number?

I always compliment them and they'll say thank you and walk off then I just assume they aren't interested, but I guess since you don't really have time to chit chat with girls who are at work that I need to just be straight up and ask for it. Opinions? I'm not talking about just cashiers I'm talking about all retail workers like the auto parts store, home depot, collards etc. Not necessarily someone who's strictly a cashier.

I'm over thinking it. I'll just keep a little notepad handy and write down my number when I see a cute girl and give it to her.

True i find the cashier can be easy or tough depending how many shoppers there are in line

The workers that are just walking around can be more easier


But yeah you might just have to go for it
